I was reading, and I saw that you're joining the Marines. I want to wish you the best of luck.. I'm not going to lecture you or anything, but make sure you've done a lot of research on the quality of life, and that it's truly what you want...

That's really good. I was the same way when I joined. I looked at every branch, though. When I first joined, I was looking into Navy, and I was dead set on it...then I decided to talk to all of the recruiters, and almost joined the Army. I still can't remember what made me join the Air Force, but I made sure to compare all of the benefits, and I had a lot of friends in the military in every branch, so they were very helpful. Now that I'm in, I'm so glad I didn't choose any other branch. I'm not down talking the Marines, but I have a lot of very unhappy Marine friends. I'm glad you're doing what you want to do, though, it's a really good feeling when you graduate bootcamp. Of course, mine was a signicant amount less than yours will be, lol, but trust me, there is nothing better than that sense of pride and accomplishment. It's the best thing ever.
