So, I haven't really been working out all that much and I feel awful.
not physically... just mentally.
I've been traveling and eating beans and rice with almost every meal (it's the standard meal in Central America) and I go running on occasion. I did my xmas 10k *note: not sure if it was a real 10K, or I just ran an hour*-- but that felt awesome!
I started doing handstands again, too.
But I felt like my gut is getting bigger. (which makes sense with all this fucking beans and rice!) but last night I got on a scale in Costa Rica.
Now.... I don't know what their measurement is. If it's actually pounds, or something else.... but the scale read 145.
I left home at 166.
My pants ARE way looser-- but my gut is bigger.
my muscles are probably going away, too. (man......)
I don't feel 20lbs lighter, so I need to either
a) not go on any scales anymore or
b) find another one to compare.
either which way-- I'm curious. Can 2 months of not working out really make that much of a difference?
let's hope it's wrong. |
