mud run

i finished my mud-run today. I don't know what my time was--but it wasn't good. (something like 40 min, i think??? i'll find out more tomorrow when the results are posted).

I have bruises everywhere on my body.

I'm pretty sure i sprained/rolled my ankle--because it hurts to put any weight on.

my toes (index, middle and ring) are all blistered on the tips of them (weird)

I have scrapes/cuts all over.

besides feeling like i got hit by a truck, it was awesome. I signed up for another one in November.

Mud run looks so fun! I'm sure it's super hard work... but that would make it fun! Maybe if I really do start getting in shape starting Tuesday then I will do one of these! How physical is it?! Obviously pretty physical... but on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) what should the fitness level be?

You probably got the toe blisters from not clipping your toenails before the run. If you don't have very short toenails when you go on a long run or hike, it will cause your toes to blister (and sometimes your toenails fall off!).

How long was the run? Id say 40ish minutes for a 5k mud run is pretty good! lol Congrats though!!

RYC: Is the Turkey trot around Thanksgiving time? I doubt I could even WALK a 5k these days. I'm so out of shape I am starting the couch to 5k today!
