WOD = "Workout OF (the) Day"
by LN's WOD

previous entry: aaaannnnnnnd I'm done.

phew. it's been a while.

06/02/2014

the last time i wrote was about my marathon and how i hated it.

Since then, I've returned back to the states and tried to train with a gas-mask. (for altitude training).
I'm climbing kilimanjaro in August.

I quit crossfit (for the time being, anyway). Too many injuries. Too much emphasis on olympic lifts without showing you proper form. too much emphasis on competition and "being stronger" instead of being more agile, flexible, mobile, etcetc.

I've started taking a pole/silks class. TONS OF FUN. I'm sore every day.

------
Other things that I'm looking to get into:
-parkour exercises (the floor is lava)
-rock climbing (climbing is useful!)
-Game of Thrones workout

If there were obstacle courses that I could just run through every day while trying to accomplish something (carrying something, go as fast as you can, do it without touching the ground... etc.) I would be happy.

------
What awesome workouts/classes have you done lately?

Maybe we need to become rich and BUILD an obstacle course that people can carry something through, go as fast as they can, do it without touching the ground, etc. sounds like the next "crossfit" to me!
