NO FLAMES!!!
Late July and one of those hot summer days when you go outside it feels like you opened up your oven at 700 degrease. Also on this day in July the earth seemed still not even a squirrel scurrying around or a bird tending to their babies. Just one locus sending it’s warning that something bad was about to happen and we wish we had listened to the wise locus.
The morning started off as any other morning. The kitchen buzzing with the morning’s breakfast and the preparations what’s going to be for lunch and dinner. One by one gravitated to the kitchens trying to steal a taste of what would be for breakfast. It was a normal routine and as always Namura shooting them away playfully.
Young ones played and pounced scaring their elders a game played most mornings. As always before breakfast there was a morning meeting for the latest updates and needs to be done during the day. It’s very boring and most are greatly happy when breakfast is ready. Most of us would be going to work but it was the weekend and only small work needed to be done and the rest was spent with friends and family.
It was about to be lunch time with the locus started its song of warning. Screams and crys started at the bottom level of our home. Gun shots echoed with a perching brake of silence and the song of the locus became drowned. We fought back hard but Cloven and his minions had the upper hand. We panicked expecting terror.
“We have to get a grip and fight back before he wipes all of us.” Yelled Jean everyone fallowed orders quickly as if we were little military. Splitting up in teams to trap Cloven and his minions in the middle…
The cross fire was ugly blood everywhere cats and human from lying there lifeless; the wounded crying out for help or playing dead. Cloven and his minions were shooting like mad men ready to rape their victim. All we remember is the blood and the manic laughter of Cloven slowly dying when he was severely wounded …
“EMILI!!!!!” Screamed Chris as he ran out in front of her as Cloven shot his last shot stopping it from hitting his beloved Emili the silver bullet hit him in the back of the head killing him insteant ly.
“CHRIS!! NO NOT MY CHRIS! YOU FUCKING BASTARD” cried Emili. One of the minions picked up his leader and the other three formed a circle around him. They ran out trying to escape with Cloven and we tried to stop them one of our strongest female Tara stopped them shooting but she was gun down by one of them. She was the one who was helping others escape and god knows why she went back… Why? …
Soon after we all organized and gathered our must needed and prepared to leave to go to America where for most it’s their home land. Loosing many of our loved ones and friends but Cloven didn’t put a dent in just a shattering of our hearts and tragic deaths. It wasn’t long before we were off to the air port in the city. For only one stayed behind to listen to the song of the locus, loud and praying for the ones lost.
A tree stood in the back yard and there stuck was the skin of the locus. A Soft hand reached out and gently took it off and placed it into a pouch closing it by pulling its string, then tied it around their ivory neck.
If only we listened.
