I am keeping the house. The estate will not be completely settled until mid May. The good news is that my friend is now going to be renting from ME so I don't have to be alone. My dad is hiring someone to do some renovating on the house. It really doesn't need much. He is going to buy some new appliances and my uncle is going to pitch in for some new furniture...etc. I will take my meager amount of furniture with me. I have a great queen size bed and frame etc. and cool stuff in storage. Thank goodness Auntie had no wallpaper like many little old ladies so some new coats of paint should do the trick. I am excited and scared at the prospect all at the same time! I wil be able to have a dog since the yard is all fenced in nicely. I was going to get a small dog awhile back, but now I am expecting I wll get a big dog now. Wish me luck. |
