Tuesday

I know I haven't updated in a while - my laptop was acting funky so I had to get it fixed, and thus far, it's been doing great (except for it was fucking up last week so I did system restore and changed the firewall so now it seems to be fixed). I was seriously freaking out when my laptop problems began because I have so many files on here but my uncle knows a laptop/computer repairman who only charges $60 bucks to fix any kind of problem so he came over a couple of weeks ago and fixed mine and my mom's laptop.

I managed to get excellent grades this semester! I did get a B in political science, but for cultural anthro and art appreciation, I got A's!!! I was super excited about it because Duvall (my anthropology professor) always gives me B's and this time he gave me an A. I totally deserved it too. I also found out about my grades on my birthday so that was even more awesome! I'm not sure how I will do next semester because my classes are going to be a bit harder although one of them is online, and I'm getting extra help for math (I'm also going to be taking my exams during the day instead of night) so I hope I do good. I'm taking archaeology too which I am super excited about even though it'll be the last class I take with Duvall since he's retiring next year (which sucks!!!).

We're on vacation from work until the 5th and I don't start school until the 13th. Work went okay the last week before vacation. We didn't do a lot because of the holidays but Julie already printed out the January calendar so now I'm working on the projects we're going to be doing and shiznit. I'm a bit more excited about work now that Christina is gone. I'm still going to be looking for something else though because I just don't have enough hours and I have a lot of things to pay for.

I went to the doctor today. They did some blood tests and I have to check back with them in 2 weeks about the results. The doc recommended over the counter pain meds for my sciatica, and other meds (also over the counter) for my scalp, skin, and nose (I've been having massive nosebleeds and scabs lately). I really want to know my blood test results though...I hope the results can shed some light on why I'm so damn tired lately.

I bought my cat 2 beds now that it's cold, plus before, we would find him sleeping on the couch (which my mom hates) so we went to the store and bought 2 beds for him, one big pillow thing for Nena and a big rain coat for her too. Then today my mom and I bought Nena a new toy and another jacket (for when she's inside the house). No, it's not corny that my dog has clothes! She has really short hair and she gets really cold when she's not wearing anything!

A7X is coming to Oakland next year and I am so going no matter what.
