Fun Fun Fun...NOT So I got up this morning and got the kids loaded up to go get their vaccinations. Swung by and picked up John on the way so he could help me and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that he was ready and waiting when I got there! Every thing seemed like it was going to go smoothly until we got to the middle of town where a black SUV got in behind us and started flashing their lights and waving for us to pull over. Finally I found a gas station to pull over in only to find that the black SUV contained John's brother Josh and his wife Sara trying to inform John that his father was in the hospital after suffering a heart attack! So of course with no questions asked I immediately told John to hop into the car with them and go check on his father. I of course do not fault John for going AT ALL after all I would have done the same thing had it been the other way around but regardless handling both the babies by myself was very difficult. Anyway so we get there, I lug them both into the office, sign them in and start waiting. Finally they call our names but its only to the front desk to inform me that Isabel's Medicaid was showing up as inactive!! So I had to cancel her appointment and was only able to get Talon his shots ..poor thing had to get three in all one in one leg and two in the other...it broke my heart having to hold him down so they could do that to him  Anyway so after that I headed over to DHR to get Isabel's Medicaid reinstated only to find that they were closed today GREAT!!! So now I have to wait until Monday to find out what in the world is going on! Well I head back for home, look at my gas hand and realize that my gas light is shining bright :: sigh :: so I detour to where my grandmother works to see if she can lend me a few bucks to get my gas hand back into the green. She swung me about ten bucks, the only problem I faced then was that I couldn't leave the kids in the car to go in and pay for the gas! Finally I just had to trust fate and ask a nice looking couple who were going in to pay for their gas already if they would be willing to take my payment in too. I was terrified that they would screw me over but they ended up being honest people and the cashier waved me on through the window so I knew they'd paid her.
Oh yeah and on top of that when I woke up this morning it was to my moms frantic voice telling me that our family dog of fifteen years plus is missing! We have searched for him high and low but there is no sign of him anywhere and believe me that is very unlike him. After all we've been able to trust him for fifteen years! I even went up to what we call "the crazy ladies" house to see if she knew where he was. At first NO JOKE she told me that "the whores ate him" so I tried to ask her if she could point to "the whores" house but she seemed to have forgotten I was there. So then I asked her if she thought maybe he was in HER house at which she starts screaming "well hell no you whore!" I just laughed and said "no Mame I'm not a whore I have two children, I'm a mother just like you" at which she replied "yeah I know what you are" so I just thanked her, apologized for bothering her and headed back home..if he is there I have a feeling he's not alive! And I know that it sounds like I'm exaggerating on that story but I SWEAR on anything you want me to that I am telling the one hundred percent truth that is what she said to me!
And of course as all bad days seem to have the habit it came after a horrible nights sleep. First I had insomnia so I stayed up till about two in the morning on the computer. Finally I decided to lay down, was down for only a few minutes before I heard something banging around on the porch, it scared me nearly to death so I ran out to see what was going on. Turned out it was my mom digging through the deep freezer looking for some Popsicles for a midnight snack LOL Then my grandmothers birds who's cage hangs over my head start flying into the bars of the cage which yet again scared me out of my wits! FINALLY I started drifting off to sleep and Talon wakes up only instead of just taking a bottle and going back to sleep like he normally does he wanted to play and laid on the couch with me kicking and wiggling for about an hour and a half. Then when I really did fall asleep around five am or so it was only about two hours before my grandfather got up to get ready for his appointment. Well my grandfather is one of the kind of men that when he is in a bad mood NO ONE gets any peace. So first he's yelling and pitching a fit because the tea pitcher in the refrigerator is too heavy, the he comes stalking over and wakes me up (which I was already awake but trying to pretend I was asleep hoping he'd leave me alone and out of his temper fit) to inform me that SOMEONE forgot to rinse out their glass after using it last night (not me) and that I better make sure I was rinsing off my dishes when I used them. The Talon woke up again, took a bottle and thankfully went right back to sleep giving me about forty five more minutes of sleep before I had to get up and get ready to take them to their appointment which was scheduled for ten fifteen! YEAH like my title says Fun fun fun...NOT! Anyway I've now been given a curfew on how long I'm allowed to be on the internet at night so I have to go to bed now UGH I'll type more later if I get the chance!
