Sometimes I HATE doctors!! Grammy took Isabel into her doctors appointment today, originally I had to work but then I got the stomach flu so instead I spent the day in the bathroom. Anyway, Isabel has the stomach virus too, now I knew that she was due for her three month shots but I thought surely the doctors would use their common sense and say "hmm this baby is very sick maybe we shouldn't do the shots this time" but NO they go and give the poor baby three shots in the muscle of her little legs! So now she is SCREAMING bloody murder, shes got diarrhea, diaper rash from the diarrhea, swollen legs that are KILLING her, a stomach ache AND a fever caused by the vaccines! Right now she's mercifully asleep, we gave her some baby Tylenol which seems to have eased her pain for now, but it won't be long before she wakes up in agony again! I love my little girl and it absolutely breaks my heart to see her in so much pain. I won't even move her legs to change her diaper, I hold her and wipe her butt from the back then lay her down and hold up her rear end while I put on the diaper rash cream. I just want to lay down and cry with her, this is so hard on me and John. Anyway we I told Grammy that from now on she has the right to tell them NO they are not to do something if she feels like it is the wrong thing, and if they have a problem with it they can call me or John and we'll tell them! I'm not having my little girl go through this again! John and I are both planning on taking off work for her next appointment so we can confront the doctor ourselves and tell her what our stance on giving her more than one vaccine at a time is! ERRR I gotta go for now, outtie and caio!
