This may be the... end of it all?
Would it be wrong to ask for a cup of coffee, or lunch after I get done with my surgery? Lol.
Or will they add on time to the 15 hours of no liquids and no food that I have right now?
I swear they are trying to kill me. Either me or the baby (and I'm just kidding. Kind of... I've never had to fast this long before.)

Either way, this may be the day of my c-section.
I feel like I'm prepared. At least more prepared then if they tried to take him on Thursday while I was at my appointment.I think they wanted too, but couldn't because I had breakfast. They wouldn't have been able to do the anesethia.

I hope it happens today.
I don't want to have to wait 3 days, and go back in and maybe have to give him up to be told to go home for another 3 days and come back for the same routine.
I think that my brain wouldn't be able to take the roller coaster of emotions, as much as just knowing that a certain day is going to be the day.

I'm slightly nervous. Actually, I'm very nervous.

I guess (as stupid as it may sound), I'm more nervous about the surgery and hospital night stays then I am about giving him up for adoption right now.
I think it's because the surgery comes first; and I might become more anxious when the time comes to go home and I don't have anything to carry out.
Thanks for visiting.

When I had my c sections I had to wait until I passed gas to get real food, until that happened I was on a liquid diet of broth and jello and all that yummy stuff lol

Hugs

I didn't have a c-section, so I really don't know what the process is.
My Hubby had open heart surgery in 09, and as soon as he woke up and was semi conscious they were giving him ice chips which they soon after upgraded to jello.

Different surgeries, but hopefully after yours you can get something yummy to eat pretty quickly.

<3 good luck

I had a c-section and I had to fast for three whole days. I was literally starving to death. After I had my daughter, I got a box lunch like an hour after my surgery and I ate but then threw up. Being pregnant has pros and cons and one of the cons is not being able to eat!

Anyway I hope you have your c-section soon. I know how hard it is to wait when you're just ready for it to all be over!

Oh man that sounds so difficult, not eating. I eat way too often to fast that long =x

good luck, hun. I hope someone gives you a big sammich.

What Life is All About I went through that roller coaster ride of emotions. When I was almost 37 wks they told me my BP was too high and started me on pitocin to induce labor. The pit made my BP go back to normal. I had my mom fly out from FL to TX and take a long 3 hr drive in the dead of night to get to me before the baby was born so I wouldnt have to be alone for the birth. Well the following morning they took me off the pit and let me eat. then decided since my BP was normal to go home and to come back in 2 days for a BP check up. Same thing happened, high BP, started me on pit. Pit wasn't kick starting labor and my BP went back down. They wanted to send me home again but did a 12 hr urine collection to confirm if i have Pre-e. 12 hr's later they confirmed I had pre-e and had to get the baby out. Luickly they were patient with me and tried cervidil and more pit. the pit didnt work. I was scared I would have to have a csection but glad i knew they werent going to send me home. a few hours later they broke my water then 4 hrs after that my son was born. I was so upset cuz they kept saying "we are gonna induce u" then turn around and say "we are gonna send u home." Good luck though.
