Good God - I've been up for and hour and 1/2 - ever since Kev left for work.
I can't sleep, knowing that there is some scumbag lurking on our road.
Kev discovered last night that the garage HAD been broken into the night before last. His tools were all gone - things that he has been collecting for years - a screwdriver that had belonged to his now-deceased grandfather. Somebody had gone all through his truck, and the upstairs of the garage.
I feel so DAMNED violated!
And mad as hell.
It's just wrong when you don't feel safe in your own home anymore.
My neighbors all got hit too. We are all mad and worried and hyper-vigilant now.
Kev loaded his handguns and put one in each of our dresser drawers - I don't like the idea immensely, but I will use it if I have to. Let's just hope that I don't have to.
