Okay, yeah, I'm just trying to be funny with the "hurd" thing...my youngest son's new girlfriend's last name is Hurd. TMI, I know. Cam still hasn't got a job, but he doesn't live here anymore, he moved in with his girlfriend and her mother a few weeks ago. He texted me the other day that he had an interview at McDonald's, but he hasn't found out if he got the job or not...this is the same place where the girlfriend and her mother work. Oy. If they can get him to work, and do SOMETHING, more power to them.
My oldest got done Job Corps, and then he, guess! moved back in with us! So, we got rid of one, but took on the other one. And this kid is messy as hell, his bedroom looks like a cyclone hit it. And his girlfriend is here ALL THE TIME!! I went out at 3 in the morning to go to the bathroom, and she was just coming in the door...ugh. Don't get me wrong, she's a nice enough girl, I think she's good for Aaron, but I don't want her in my face all of the time. Just when Kev and I thought that we had the house to ourselves again, in comes oldest and his girlfriend.
Still working as a PSS. Although, I have four clients, and they are all Homemakers. Which means, you guessed it, I get to CLEAN their houses. How is that working with them as a health-care worker? It's not, and I really don't like this job at all. Come November I am going to give my 2 week notice, because I don't want to drive in the winter, and I am not LIKING this job at all. My plan is to get my CNA again and work in a nursing home - that's hands-on health-care, that's what I want to do.
Ordered new glasses yesterday - the eye doctor gave me 2 prescriptions, one for reading and one for driving. Getting older sucks donkey dinks. I also found out that I have asthmatic bronchitis, seriously though, I have NEVER had asthma, why now? And I really don't like using the inhaler that she prescribed to me.
I have a carbuncle under my arm that has to be surgically removed...the surgeon said that it will be an open wound for a few weeks, so I decided that I would get it done in November, when I'm not working. No sweat. It's perpetually infected, so my white blood count is a little elevated. Like I said, getting older sucks.
