But I'm warming up a bit. To the hygeniest who has been doing the scaling of my teeth. Two quads down and two to go. Plus the two appointments for fillings (although they will be using laughing gas for those), I am 1/4 of the way finished with the necessary appointments with the dentists.
I guess that I'm doing okay with taking care of said teeth, Cathy told me today that my gums are starting to get quite snug around my teeth, and that's what we want.
It took six hours for the novacaine to wear off today - but, I didn't cry this time. I knew what was coming, I put my big girl panties on and got it over and done with. I think the reason that I had such a bad reaction last week was because I hadn't expected it to hurt so damned much.
I am starting to *feel* it now, and it's not a great feeling, but it's also not the worst feeling in the world.
The only nice thing to say about the tartar was the fact that it was keeping my teeth from being sensitive - now they can't stand the cold again - Cathy gave me some Colgate Pro Sensitive - I hope it works.
So, anyway.....
Not much else to write about. Aaron is coming home this Friday. I haven't talked to him since the last time that he was home. He seems okay, but somehow *distant* - and I don't mean the fact that he is 4 hours away, either.
I just discovered a new way to crochet - it's called "Tunisian" - I really like it. I've been working on a shawl in Turqua yarn for one of my pen-pals. It's coming out pretty nice, maybe I'll post a picture of it when I am finished with it.
Okay, done - catch ya on the flip side -
♥
