So the colonoscopy is over. the nursing staff gave me so much shit about it being my birthday!! haha but the colonoscopy was an hour late bc some lady came into the ER and my doc had to go but it was a breeze, I talked to the OR nurse and found out she knows my uncle, wow small world. they shot some stuff in my IV and the next thing I know I was waking up. no pain what so ever. i dont remember the doc giving me results all i remember is him saying hey kiddo. but i asked the nurse and everything was fine, nothing for biopseys and no colon cancer and nothing which is really good but now i still dont know whats causing my pain, so my family doc is going to be calling me with suggestions of what to do next since the doc that did this wasnt my actual doc. I had to eat and walk and use the bathroom b4 theyd let me leave so i pushed myself hard, and right away I was trying to lift my head but oh boy did i feel dizzy but they said they could c i was determind well u damn right i wanted to get out there, its my birthday! you only turn 19 once! oh well im celebrating tomorrow!! I think mom is ordering piza tonight, they said it light so I might eat a piece, we'll c what can tolerate. they made me eat fruit and corn b4 i could leave, so i shoved that down in like 5 minutes, i wanted to go soo bad. i feel drowsy and i am gassy. lol hope the rest of the day goes good and yea, i am just glad it's over- it really wasn't bad at all. so im going to finish my snadwhich and go lay down. ttyl |
