Things have been a little crazy lately. 2 weeks ago my husband got laid off. He has done so much for that company and was the go-to guy for the owner on a few occasions. But.. they didn't make as much money as they wanted to, and the Research team was the first to go. So now Eric is on the job hunt. He's applying everywhere: Massachusetts, California, Texas, and has even mentioned Shanghai and France. France would be awesome I gotta say. He has applied to a few places here of course.. which would be my number 1 choice so I don't have to leave all my best friends behind. We have a good life here: friends, Emma's school, her friends. But, part of being his wife is going where he goes. I guess if we have to move, I would want to move to California. He's applying to a job that is an hour and a half away from where my mom lives. I miss California so much. Especially the weather and the beaches. It is so depressing living in a city that rains 90% of the time.
So that's the professional side of things. Rachel is 2 months old now and getting cuter everyday (like she could get any cuter  ) She's smiling a lot and talking to us. I love her little personality. Although she's getting fussier too. She definitely likes to be held and she's taking shorter naps during the day. Which is good I guess because for a week now she's slept 6-8 hours every night! Lately I've been doing little photography sessions with her. I'm also trying to learn too crochet. I made a hat for her with monkey ears. It's definitely flawed, but I think it's cute. Well I've got to start dinner, so I'll leave you with a couple pictures:
