Or have any superpowers

You won’t find him in a comic book
Or on the big screen

Armed with a hose
Fighting fire
He’s extraordinary, ordinary

There’s my hero
Armed with a gun
Arresting the law breakers
He’s extraordinary, ordinary

There’s my hero
Armed with a scalpel
Saving a life
He’s extraordinary, ordinary

There’s my hero
Armed with knowledge
Teaching the youth
He’s extraordinary, ordinary

He can’t fly through the air
Or scale a building

Thanks for the welcome and encouraging words. My degree is in English with a specialization in creative writing. I'm a fiction writer primarily, but I dabble in nonfiction and poetry whenever the mood to do so strikes. I'll go more into detail in future entries.
