Dear diary… I was told not to tell anyone yet but… no one will repeat things said here..
So today I was standing in the kitchen at the counter with my back towards the entry way and my dad was at the kitchen table. My mom, sister and her wife were in the living room chatting.
Amanda came into the kitchen and said “I got something to tell you guys.” I turn around to face her. “mom already knows. We’re having a baby”
I had a happy-shocked looked. Amanda said “you look shocked” I took off my shocked face and said “so I can’t be?” she said “no, you can be” I said “good” and put the shocked face back on. She giggled. I don’t remember the last time I heard her giggle. It was a sweet –beautiful sound. Honestly, I was speechless.
She didn’t say who was having the baby lol
She said it will be due in October, same month as their wedding and my twin’s wedding and two of my cousin’s wedding and well…ok, the world series lol
So… yup, I’m going to be a nephew again and I am so happy
