So my nanna was moved from the hospital to a rehab center on Friday.
My par is living on his own now. (he had a broken hip 2 years ago that causes him to need a cane)
The nurse's aid came in to help my par take a shower this morning.
However, my par said he was not ready and asked if she could come back in a half hour. She agreed.
Well, my par decided he would take a shower. (wether she was not back in 30 mins or he wanted to be smart and do it on his own, dont know)
He got himself into the shower however, with extreme hot water on, he had fell and could not get up. He ended up with a first and second degree burn on his foot and leg and a gash on his knee from the fall.
so my dad got that call this morning and he was waiting in the hospital with him this morning. Phone calls were made and he is in a rehab on the same floor as my nanna.
*sigh* and my dad was getting sick yesterday from over stress from his parents.
I am sure this can't help his nerves, blood pressure and mental wellbeing.
