bad turns worse

So my nanna was moved from the hospital to a rehab center on Friday.
My par is living on his own now. (he had a broken hip 2 years ago that causes him to need a cane)
The nurse's aid came in to help my par take a shower this morning.
However, my par said he was not ready and asked if she could come back in a half hour. She agreed.
Well, my par decided he would take a shower. (wether she was not back in 30 mins or he wanted to be smart and do it on his own, dont know)
He got himself into the shower however, with extreme hot water on, he had fell and could not get up. He ended up with a first and second degree burn on his foot and leg and a gash on his knee from the fall.
so my dad got that call this morning and he was waiting in the hospital with him this morning. Phone calls were made and he is in a rehab on the same floor as my nanna.

*sigh* and my dad was getting sick yesterday from over stress from his parents.
I am sure this can't help his nerves, blood pressure and mental wellbeing.

Oh no....that's horrible. Maybe he felt uncomfortable having someone help him shower? I know my grandpa never liked the idea of someone having to give him a sponge bath when he was on hospice care before he died.

Anyways, I wish them both a speedy recovery!

ryn: I deleted my novel because it was a whole lot of rambling garbage, I think, so unfortunately you won't be able to read it lol

Yes... I am taking protein supplements, as well as Vitamins, b-12 shot, gall bladder meds, calcuium, and iron. So with all that i am not eating much

ryc: Yeah, I know all about your frustrations with your job and such since you've told me that before - and in all honesty, I think that your disability is one of the reasons that you haven't been able to find a job in your area since they all require a drivers license, and you obviously cannot get a drivers license, though you could say that you have a driver if someone can drive you regularly or if you have a car service or something like that. I hate to think that people would discriminate based on disability but that is certainly the reason. They do not require drivers licenses for counselors or therapists in our state, so maybe you are just applying in the wrong geographic area.
