I am trying to remember as much as I can but not easy when your mind was in that state of mind. I’m going to try my best but it’s going to be scatted pieces
So going back to the last entry, she had brought up what my mom said a few weeks ago to my dad “you’ll probably have to stop at the store on the way to the airport to pick up condoms.”
I was curious what she meant by that and she said she had to go into work and would talk about it later.
So after she got out of work, she called me as usual but it wasn’t a usual conversation.
K: So what about what your mom said?
J: I cant tell you
K: Oh, come on, you can tell me anything
J: Well, ya
K: So what are you thinking?
J: I cant tell you
K: Wy?
J: because of the topic
K: What? Sex? You shouldn’t be embarrassed to talk about sex with me
J: I shouldn’t?
K: No, why should you be?
J: Because of the topic and I don’t know how you feel, I don’t want to cross a line that you don’t want to and I don’t want you to say Jonathan, you’re stupid, Jonathan, you’re grose. Or anything like that. (I rambled from there)
K: Jonathan, do you feel better now?
No, cause I don’t know how you feel
K: Jonathan, I don’t think you are stupid, I don’t think you are grose. You don’t have to worry about crossing a line that I don’t want.
*I don’t know where this goes *
J: So, how do you feel?
*she gave this long sigh*
K: I feel flattered and relieved
J: Relieved? I, ah, can almost understand flattered but relieved?
K: Uh huh
(I was trying to process that, and I asked her why relieved, but don’t remember her response)
I told her that I feel good now, now that I know how she feels.
K: Should I get fuzzy handcuffs?
J: Yes
(she giggled)
J: But remember, I’m stronger than you
K: So should I get the heavy duty fuzzy handcuffs?
J: (no idea why, my voice dropped deep) yes
K: Wo, what was that?
J: (deep voice) what are you talking about?
K: Your voice is deep
J: (clears throat, back to normal) I don’t know what you are talking about
K: (she giggles) oh come on, you voice was low
J: (back to deep voice) hmm it is pretty low. I wonder how low I can go. Every limbo boy and girl, all around the limbo world gonna do the limbo rock,, hey let’s do the limbo rock. How low can you go? (last few words I went even deeper)
(she giggled)
(I cleared my throat again and went back to my normal voice)
J:What’s today?
K: (technocly it’s Saturday.
J: Hmm last weekend I went with John and got some. But I wasn’t sure, since you are ellergic to alcohol if you were illergic to anything else
K: Nope, just alcohol
J: That’s good. I was thinking of you and being (caring?)
*not sure what word I said*
J: So now I can tell you the funny thing. I told John’s sister, Lisa, the lady in texas, that
John was getting me some but she used her own term. “so you are going to get some protection? From the sun, right?”
K: (she laughed)
J: Hmm I should send you the rest of what she wrote, it was funny. It was about pretection from the sun.
K: Ya, you should
K: So my to do list before next Friday would be, I have to clean, do laundry go food shopping, buy fuzzy handcuffs,and take Moaggie to the vet
J: Mmhhmm
K: Hey!
J: Hey what?
K: Did you hear my list?
J: Yes, the 4th one being the interesting one. Don’t forget to shave too.
K: Oh shit, that’s right. I do got a lot to do.
J: So, I guess we really can talk about anything now
K: We always could
J: Hmm I guess
K: I guess?
J: Well, not about this topic
K: Ya ha
J: Well, ok, yes, but not when it came to us.
She said that she really had to go in and for only the 3rd time, she was the one who said “I love you Jonathan” first and I replied “I love you too Karen. Good night sweet dreams”
I’m sorry I cant recall the entire conversation word for word like I usually can but that will have to be enough to hopefully get everyone to smile..
So… I’m not sure if we’re going to make love, have sex or a combo of those, but I must say, I am relieved and still a bit shocked. She’s amazing and I love her.
