today the kids walk to school with heavy winter jackets, hats cover their ears and gloves keeping the cold from the frost bite. It is 31 degrees out and there is a bit of snow remaining from the last snow storm. Its another dark and gloomy winter day outside.
Step in side my room and you would think it is mid-April today.
I am wearing a Boston RedSox T-jersey covered with a comfy Redsox hoody (given to me by my gf) and in my mind it is 81 degrees and the sun is shining high in the sky. I have a bag of peanuts next to me and on my radeo, The Baltimore Orioles are playing the New York Mets in the first spring training game of the 2009 season.
Everything is right in the world of Jonathan, even if it is just for 3 hours.
Tonight My Boston RedSox take on the Minasota Twins in the first spring training game for my boys of summer.These games may not count for anything more than who will be the 5th outfielder and the last arm in the pen, but it does not matter, baseball is here.
