Today, Red Sox ticket packages went on sale. I was originally super excited…till I realized that I had a training today that would last from 9-5. I asked my mom earlier this week and she told me that my sister was doing her haf Torah this Saturday, and she was going to that. I asked my cousin Heidi if she could help. She said “Saturday morning? You know J gets his hair cut then” I thought of my friend Lisa, she was the one who got me them last year, yes, all the way from TX and she had surgery yesterday to have her tonsils removed so I didn’t ask her. I was thinking of others I could ask and ended up asking Zac, the kid who I went to the World Series games with and he said he would be happy to do it for me.
I sent him all my info and the packages I would want.
So today I went to training. I didn’t get to check my email till lunch time, so for 2 hours, although I was listening to the instructors, in the back of my mind I was wondering if he got a pack of tickets and if so, which one. There was 3 I wanted and I put them in preference order.
When lunch break came, I pulled my laptop out, fired it up, jumped on the net and checked my email… I was SHOCKED! As of last night, there was 10 packages that would be on sale and opening day tickets was not in any of the packages. This morning they had added 2 packages, one pack had the opening day tickets and …I’M GOING! WOOO! I get to be at Fenway Park when they hand out the 2013 World Championship rings.
Tonight was the annual award for the best college football player of the year.
The 79th Heisman Trophy goes to Jameis Winston of Florida State Seminoles
He was a run-away. Between 2nd place and 6th place there was 300 points and between 1-2 there was a 600 point difference.
The most incredible part of it? He was only a freshman, the youngest player to win the award at 19 years old
I’ve had a poem title stuck in my head for about a month now and couldn’t do anything with it. I heard a song the other day and there was a few lines in the song that I was like “that’s it, if I can sit down, read over the lyrics to the song, listen to the song and start writing, I can get the poem out of me”….but I have yet to do that but hopefully soon I will have a new poem but I think it will be met with negative shakes of heads…
Ok, so this wasn’t an exciting entry for anyone but me lol SORRY!
Lastly, I have asked before but for whatever reason, I don't remember, I didn't get help.
I want to save my bloop diary onto my computer. I had done it amazingly, right before the ccrash of 2008 and I am forever greatful I did.
I had asked Steve to help me, he never returned my message.
I click on the DL and hmm I don't remember what happened but it didn't save.
Would someone be willing to take some time to sit down with me and walk me through it? Thanks.
