hi people hope everyone is doing well.
What's up with me? hmm
On Saturday the Redsox put on sale the remaining tickets they didnt put on sale in December. So of course, I was ready with my computer, my mom's and dad's computer as well as being on the phone.
After 2 hours, we still didnt get through. I went out for lunch with ny sister, twin and his wife and a friend of theirs. When I got back around 3;30, the computers were still in the vertual waiting room. I continued to sit by my computer and continued to call. I got through about 4;30 on the computer but because there is a varification code you need to see, I need someone to help me but no one was home. My dad did come home about 10 minutes later and he tried to get tickets but because of a problem with the site, the tickets didnt go through. I went back down stairs and tried to call again and I got right through. The bad thing for me, good for the redsox, all the games had limited tickets remaining. I was able to get two tickets for the Mets side by side. I was very suprized about that. The other 3 games I got cheepest tickets avalable which ended up being standing room for two of the games and indevisual bleacher seats for the other game. It doesn't matter to me because I'll be at fenway this year rooting on my boys.
GO REDSOX!
Sunday I went to twin river, a casino in RI with my parents.
I had fun, as I always do. I brought 100, was up to 107 and after a few hours of up-down, I walked away with 64 dollars. . spending 36 dollars for 5 hours of fun is not bad.
Went to dinner with my parents, my twin and his wife. It was a restaurant in my bro's town that he had not been to yet. It was an Italian -greek restaurant. I had an awesome Pene, sausage catchatori. I was still hungry so we got these mouth watering fried dough balls that are dipped in hunny with nuts. I also had a nice cup of tea with it.
Nikki and I were talking about getting tickets Boston Celtics tickets in NY to play the Knicks. I tried to get tickets Friday night? on ebay but didnt get in on time. I think those were section 414. So last night, Sunday night, I was looking around and I saw a bunch of tickets for that game. Some people were asking for a lot others had a lot of time left on the bids. I found a pair of good seats that had a "buy now" button. Since it was after midnight, I couldnt do anything about it. I sent my mom the info and today after lunch we went down to her computer and she helped me get the tickets.
I ended up with section 201 row B. These should be great seats. I'm excited. I think Nikki is happy about it. I have not been to a C's game this season and the last time I went to a game at MSG was a few years ago for my birthday when Patric Ewing's number 33 was retired. It was so awesome. He was one of my favorite players growing up.
I think Nikki will be happy to see Ray Allen live. That will be next Friday, February 6th.
I am happy that Jason Varritek got a two year contract offer from the RedSox. Hopefully he'll sign it. We need him.
Andy Pettett signed a 1yr 5.5m base contract, insentives can bring it to 12m.
I can't believe how many people are still free agents this late into the the off season. There are some All stars including Manny ramirez, Ben Sheets, Adam Dunn, Andruw Jones, Tom Glavin, Pedro Martinez, Bobbie Abrue, Varritek and my boy, pudge Rodriguez.
I am sad that baseball is not here yet.
I miss my baseball. |
