hello all

Well, the new year selebration is coming and I am going to tag along with my twin and his wife to her cousin's in RI. Since U-miami is playing at 2pm, they're going to pick me up before that and we'll go into boston to a sports bar to catch the Bowl game then on to RI. I'll be sleeping over his place. I figured it would be crazy to have him drive me to my house when his house is half way between my house and RI. The new years selebration should be a fun time but another year coming to a close without a special lady to kiss at midnight.

My sister's b day is also on December 31. We're going to selebrate it on Sunday with a big brunch. My sister is going to have about 8 girls over. My mom invited some of her friends, I would be surprised if she doesnt invite her sister sarah, my cousin Heidi and my little cousin Jalen. My twin and his wife will be over so... there'll be a lot of Pheromone and with it, a lot of talkers.

Saturday I maybe heading back to RI with my parents to the cosino. so... that'll be my weekend.

Last year I made a new years resolution
I told myself, since finding a fulltime job and a special lady are not things I can control, I would do something that I could control myself for the most part.

I said I would run on the treadmill every day.

For the first 9 months, I did extremely well.
I slacked off when I got back from my cousin's wedding in PA but i still did alright.

I'm not sure what else to make for a new years resolution, so I think I will stick to that one.

so my 2011 new years resolution (unless I think of something else that is better) is to run on the treadmill.

So I went out with my best friend John, his wife kat and my nephew Holden for dinner tonight.

We first were going to a stakehouse that I love. So they picked me up about 7;30 and we drove up.
Holden's phrase of the day is "pretty lights" and he would say it and repete it. I would ask him "what color?" He would mostly say "green" I think green's his favorite color. Once he asked for his baba, and Kat gave it to him. then Holden says "uncle" so I face him and put my hand on his car seat, and he hands it to me to hold. He was also saying door, window, and later in the night I tought him "store" I asked him to count for me. The last time I heard him count, which was maybe? 2 months ago. He needed help-prompting. I didnt even have to say "1" he just started when I asked him. hmm what else did he say that was cute. "mama nurse" Kat's a nurse. "dada shoes" he works for converse.
Back to our dinner. We got there and got out of the car. So I am holding on to John's elbo (does anyone know what sighted guide is?) and Kat is holding on to Holden's hand about 7 feet behind us.

Well, the cute little monster let's go of Kat's hand, and says (as he is running) "uncle's hand" and he takes my hand in his. ... everyone at once now... awww!

Unfortunately, the place was packed so we got back in the car and headed to friendly's, a place that is known for their ice cream but also has regular american food. We were going to go there after anyways for ice cream. The food was eh, ok. I got a burger and fries. I dont think the burger was welldone as I asked but we had waited 25 minutes for our food, I wasnt going to wait any more.

We did get icecream. I always get the same thing. It's a joke to John but I dont get it anywhere else and I love it.. Strawberry icecream with strawberry topping.

When the bill came, John said "she didnt charge us for our icecream" I was like... what? Then he said after looking at it again, "she didnt charge us for our drinks either. ... we figured out or assumed, she felt bad about the 25 minute wait for our food that she didnt charge us for some of the things but the strange thing is, she didnt say anything about it. I felt bad. She was a good waitress. my dinner cost $10 the icecream would prob be 4 bucks so I gave her 15.

We get out side of the restaurant and Holden stands right in front of me and looks up at me and says "uncle, up?" he wanted me to pick him up. I could have but they didnt want me to. I cary my little cousin J around and he's 12. ok, so J can direct me but i could still do sighted guide and hold onto Holden. It was cute though.

John had to run into a store before he dropped me off so when he was in there, I said "dada, store, dada store" and he got it. after about 5 minutes he goes "dada coming. dada coming" I said to this just 2 year old, "are you asking me or telling me?" (haha) After a few minutes I figured he was asking me

All and all it was a nice evening.

I'll write again tomorrow I'm sure but if not or if you dont get back on here tomorrow...
