ok, so the world knows that one of my "life time goals" is to see every major league baseball stadium.
There is this elderly group of women who belong to my temple who I lovingly refer to as "my temple family" One of them, name Sheila, who loves to bake, my I add.. well she has 3 daughters ranging from the age of 40-46. One of them live in florida with her Husband and two children, a Daughter who is 20 and a son who is 18.
Her name is Phyllis, her husband is Lary. So Phyllis is this huge red sox fan and Patriots fan. Anywho, she's been begging me to come down and see a game with her. She knows about my desire (or knows now lol) about attending every baseball stadium.
A few weeks ago, she started on me to come down to fl and see a game. Last week I looked at the Miami Marlins' schedule and saw that they are playing home during laborday weekend vs the ny mets. I asked her if that weekend would be ok to come down, knowing she teachees during the week. she said pretty much in all caps and exclinmations yes. Today I went to jetblue, saw the schedule and prices. Picked one out that would be good for her. I emailed her the flight info, asking if this was good for her. again, she wrote "THAT'S FINE!!!" and so I went ahead and booked my flight.
