stuck.
I have no idea what to do right now. Well, that's a
lie. I have a pretty good idea but I'm just not
quite sure. So far, my job at The Cheesecake Factory has been a
nightmare. Friday night I worked at 5 pm, didn't get out until almost 2 in the morning..not that it's too bad, but the night was just
ridiculous. After the manager had made sure everything looked okay for closing, she told me to go meet her by
the office. So there I was standing by the office, and then one of the bussers or dishwashers, whatever he is, gave me this
annoyed look and was like "
what are you going to do with all of these boxes?" (boxes that the cheesecake go in from the freezer). My trainer Erika said she had
"zoned" the freezer which basically means taking all of the boxes out and making it look nice, but it turns out she
left all of these boxes in the middle of the floor. So I told the guy, "
I wasn't aware of these boxes, because I didn't zone the freezer and was told that it was already done by my trainer. But sure, I'll take out the boxes." Then Greg, one of the managers, comes running out and looks at the boxes and is like
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! WHERE IS ERIKA?!" And I said, "I believe she left." Next thing I know, Lisa (manager) and Greg go running outside trying to catch Erika, and they caught her before she left and she was sent to the office. That's when I was told that the
tattoo behind my ear needs to be covered and I had told them, "
Fabian (general manager) said I couldn't cover it with a bandage so..." And they said, "Well figure it out. Put make up over it or something"
I was just so exhausted from that night. Then last night I was supposed to take my final test to be certified but it turns out I'll be doing that
tomorrow..and I'm honestly just thinking about
quitting after tomorrow. It's so damn busy there and I can't keep up. Last night, my trainer Hanna kept
sending me to the freezer to get cakes, and since I have no idea where anything is at, it took me a bit to find them.
I'm pretty sure I was frozen after last night. When you total it all up, I probably spent over
half of my shift just in the freezer.
FUCKING COLD!!!!! I want to find out the temperature they keep the freezer at because it is ridiculously cold, haha. Anyway, it was
extremely busy and I just found myself being useless besides being able to pull cakes out of the freezer. Sigh.
It's also really hard because my boss from The Coffee Bean
keeps texting me asking for me back and said he would
happily give me full time benefits and a better schedule if I wanted. I guess the statement "
You don't know what you have until it's gone" really does apply here. The more I think about it, and the more I work at The Cheesecake Factoy,
the better going back to Coffee Bean looks. I would be able to get vacation, medical benefits, and maybe even get to work some nights (I got so tired of waking up at the crack of dawn every day). So at this point I don't really know what I'm going to do. Argh.

To add to my
glorious weekend (words of sarcasm), I was
pulled over yesterday and given a ticket for
talking on the phone while driving. I'm really
disappointed in myself, because I rarely do it and if I do I have the phone in my lap and the speaker on, but I
pulled the phone to my mouth because the person I was talking to couldn't hear me, and a
motorcycle cop happened to be right next to me. I looked directly at him and I was just like "
Oh, fuck." Sure enough he pulled me over. I was
terrified. It sounds pathetic but I've never been pulled over or have had ANY trouble with the law,
so my heart was pounding. He wasn't an asshole or anything, and I did apologize a lot, haha. Not that it makes a
difference. Now I just have to wait for the mail so I can pay the ticket..
and then I will tell my mom. I really don't want to because I know she will be
extremely upset, but I figure if I pay the ticket and take care of it, she can't be too mad..right? Haha. I really don't want to tell her!
I'm just gonna have to use my
financial aid money to pay for it, as much as I don't want to because I planned on
not spending any of it so I could use it for a car..but my
dumbass has to pay a ticket.
Meh.

I've been ticketed for the exact same thing. It's so lame. You'd think if this was the case, they'd start including a Bluetooth with every cell phone, since you apparently can't use the speakerphone legally, either (EVEN THOUGH THE LAW SAYS YOU CAN).
Some places are so weird about tatoos. You can't just cover a tattoo with makeup... that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Glad to know no one at that place communicates about anything. /rolleyes.
LOL. I got a minor in possession when I was 19 - first and ONLY ticket I've gotten - I called my mom up the next day (I got it at 3am) & was like, "Welp, I got a MIP last night". Is your mom really strict? Just makes me giggle.

Work is gonna be so brutal today! The medicine did make me sleep last night, which was good! Hopefully I feel better in a few days or so .....
I keep my phone away from me now, so I won't touch it while I'm driving. I was a notorious texter and driver, because I drive on a lot of back highways. I don't live anywhere busy though 
Who the heck covers a tattoo with makeup?! Is that even possible?
