I've been contemplating over the last few weeks if I should go refinance my car because I felt like my payment was way too high for my 2010 Chevy Cobalt. It wasn't worth it and I kept getting refinance notices in the mail, so I decided to go check Honda out since they seemed really helpful and nice on the phone. Basically, the guy told me based on my credit it would be really difficult to refinance, however they could try and put me in a brand new Honda Civic. I didn't believe it and thought it'd be a waste of time, but test drove one anyway. Then he told me I'd have to put $1300 for a $522 car payment, or $3000 down for a $481 car payment. I just stared at him and said "That would defeat the purpose of why I came here. Why would I put money down when I just said I couldn't put anything down, and on top of that make a higher car payment?" So then he went and talked to the general sales manager and they were able to work out a deal for me. I didn't have to put anything down, my car payment is still the same as it was on the Chevy, and I now drive a black 2013 Honda Civic I love it! It has a reverse camera (my favorite part), and I can hook up my phone to the car and make calls through my car. It has EcoBoost, Pandora hook up, etc. I'm so stoked! And next weekend I'm going back so they can install the full alarm system. Right now I just have the basic alarm system where the alarm would sound if the door opened; but the alarm I'm getting installed next weekend is if someone were to break the window or anything like that. He told me Hondas were the most stolen vehicles and that people always try to steal Honda parts (which I've heard a lot!). I'm pretty happy right now!

So I've been hanging out with Anthony all week. Monday night I went over to his house and we went in his jacuzzi, which was really nice! Tuesday we went to the Farmer's Market by his house. Thursday and Friday we chilled at my house and cuddled. Okay, well Thursday we did a lot more than cuddle, haha. He's by far the best I've ever had. It's really amazing with him Yesterday I went over to my grandma's after the car place with my mom because her birthday was Wednesday. It was nice seeing her and my grandpa. Afterwards I went to the gym and then Anthony and I went and saw The Conjuring. It was soooo packed. I liked the movie though, and I'm thankful that Anthony spent the night last night or I would have had nightmares for sure! I loved falling asleep with him and waking up next to him this morning.

Speaking of this morning, we were laying in bed and he was laying over me and was like "I have a question." And then he asked how much I liked him, I told him a lot...and then he steered away from whatever he was going to ask next. Then finally he says "You like me enough to be my girlfriend?" And of course I said yes. So we are official! He told me he asked me today because 21 is my favorite number. I'm really happy; I love spending time with him and he does so many cute things for me. Like I told him how McDonald's has the Despicable Me minions in the happy meals, and so on Thursday night he brought me one of them

This morning I took him to Rod's (childhood charbroiled burger place) because he's never been there and it's one of my favorite places! He loved the food I showed him the high school I went to. Then we came back here and he just left my house. Tomorrow night he'll be coming over so we can watch Dexter (we normally do on Sundays but I have stuff to do today). Tuesday night I'm going to his first hockey game of the season; he'll be playing goalie. On Saturday we're going to the Dodgers game with my brother and my brother's girlfriend. I got the tickets Friday night so I'm looking forward to that!

My presentations are coming up so soon for work and I'm so nervous! Blah. On the August 6th presentation, I'm going to be going back later that night for a dinner event to mingle and get new clients but my boss won't be going with me! I'm a little nervous for that but he trusts me enough to go by myself -shrug-

As far as the part time weekend job, Jeremy never texted me about coming in to do the paperwork for Daphne's Greek Café. I find that a little rude since he got my hopes up and told me to bring all of these things and then postponed us meeting and never talked to me again about it. Anyway, I posted on Facebook I was looking for a part time job and a few of the girls from my old PetSmart job said to come back. So I called my old salon manager there and she said she'd love to have me back even if it's just weekends. I spoke with my store manager and he also said "You're hired!" before I could even finish my sentence. So he told me to fill out the online application and I believe on Wednesday I'll be leaving my job early to go do the drug test for PetSmart. I'm excited to be working with animals again and to be making extra money! It will basically pay for my car payment
