It's not really a secret because everybody on the road knows it, but I am a bad driver! I'm the one driving 40 in a 50mph zone because I don't know where I'm going. I'm the one who cuts you off because I didn't see you there when I was trying to merge. I don't mean to be a bad driver, but sometimes (not always) I am, and I feel guilty about it.
I agree with you. a guy I know does all that this person admitted to but if you flip him off he gets pissed at you & if someone does to him what he does, again he flips out. It's some scary shit when you're sitting in the backseat when he does this.
"I'm the one who cuts you off because I didn't see you there when I was trying to merge."
That's really scary, and is -obviously- how accidents happen. Maybe you should talk to a doctor about it. You may need glasses or may need meds to help you concentrate.
There's this trick where you check your blind spot-- you just peek over your shoulder and look out the back window. Seriously, what if you cut off a motorcyclist and they died? this isn't a cutsy secret. If you really feel guilty about it, take more lessons and fix the problem or get off the road. If you don't know where you're going--pull over and figure it out while the car is parked--not while you're driving down the road. I'm glad you posted this, though. Recognizing that there is a problem is the first step towards fixing it. Best wishes to you, with all sincerity.
If you know you're a bad driver (like I know I am) you should not be driving. You are a hazard on the road. When you get behind the wheel you're not only putting your life at risk but others around you. Do you want to be responsible for killing someone? I hope not. Take driving lessons to improve the areas in which you are not good at. If you just don't want to do something about it then take the bus like I do. Don't put others at risk because you don't know how to drive properly.
