I think that.. If you feel guilty about having this guy as a friend, then you might have some romantic feelings towards him.

I mean... if you have no feelings toward this guy romantically, and you're not doing anything that could, by any stretch of the imagination, could be called cheating, why would you feel that way? You're allowed to have friends that are male without feeling like you do.

You can cheat on a person emotionally...not just physically...So if it feels like cheating - then yes, your cheating. Rule of thumb - if your doing something that you wouldn't feel comfortable doing infront of your significant other - then you shouldnt be doing it in the first place (there are clauses in that theory...but like I said...rule of thumb)

If your feelings are not romantic and only friendship than why feel guilty? I think it may be that you do like the guy in a romantic way, but you don't want to admit it.

maybe u need to tell him because when i gotten "busted" i thought i told him about this long friend of mine and i never met him just chatting and he saw the convo and asked who he was but i know i wasnt cheatin or feeling that way cuz i thought i told him... and he understood as long i wasnt too personal with him
