It's been over 5 years, and even though I'm pretty much over the past I still miss you sometimes.
From time to time, I sit and wonder if things would be any different if you were still around, and if we were still best friends. I never thought we'd go through high school not being friends, and I never though we'd go off to college not speaking.
I guess it doesn't really matter now, our lives turned out just fine without each other as a part of them. Yet, sometimes I still wonder how different we would be if we'd never left each other's sides. |
