gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday, (:

I'm not a fan of country music, but man, Scotty McCreery has me changing my mind! I'm SO excited for the Idol tour and to see/meet my favorite James, plus Scotty, Casey, Lauren, Paul, and everyone else! (: The finale was so much fun to watch, and I'm just really happy with the results.

I've basically just been hanging out lately before I start working next Wednesday. I wasn't happy, though, because as soon as my mouth stopped hurting from my wisdom teeth, I started my period with ravenous, violent cramps like I've never had before. It was terrible. Luckily, it was only for a few hours on the first day and it's been smooth sailing from then on out. I watched the Idol performances/Glee finale on Tuesday with Amanda, Kelsey and Alyssa. It was a lot of fun, and Glee made me SO MAD and beyond happy at the same time. So sad there's that summer hiatus, but makes me really excited for September!

Trying to get stuff together for this job is crazy. The place Downriver where I needed to go and get my Child Protective Services license/background check. And it's closed. So now I have to go out to Detroit to get it because that's the next closest one. -Sigh- And I still have to go to Gerisch to pick up my letter of recommendation from Ms. Zeld and print mine from Mrs. Warren. Then yesterday I went to the doctor's office, and got injected with something for this TB test I had to do, and I have to go back for the results tomorrow (I'm pretty sure I don't have tuberculosis, but we'll see I guess ). Then I have to meet with a team leader on Tuesday, and then I start orientation on Wednesday and I'm officially a full-time worker. Oh lord.

Yesterday was pretty fun, actually! It was like the apocalypse with the amount of rain we got, but I woke up, got ready, picked up Alyssa, got my TB test done, and hung out at the house. We played Mario Party, Ashley came over after a little while, watched the AI finale (YAY SCOTTY! <3 Haha), and then Baron came over to join us. We talked for a little bit, and then Ashley peaced out. Alyssa and I ended up going to Baron and Mitchell's apartment to hang out. We watched YouTube videos, talked, played Mario Party and before we knew it, it was 4 AM. So, Alyssa and I just crashed on the futon there and we all woke up around 1 pm (11 was our "goal" time...yeah, that didn't happen). Baron made us fried egg sandwiches for breakfast, which were DELICIOUS. So yummy. I devoured it, got my crap together and then we ran to his house in Taylor, hung out there for a bit while he tried to find some things, picked up his little sister Cara from school — I can't even handle how adorable she is — then he dropped Alyssa off at home, and me.

I went to dinner with my dad at Buffalo Wild Wings, which we got for free! I love that my dad knows people. (: The manager, Brad, bought some furniture off of us and owed my dad $20, so he said to come up to bdubs and he'd take care of our dinner for us. So delicious. After, I went over to Ashley's for a few hours. The SYTYCD premiere was on tonight! We talked for awhile, and then started to play Bananagrams, but it was too hard to concentrate with SYTYCD on that we just stopped and watched. There were SO many brilliant dancers tonight. I have no doubt that this is going to be a fantastic season!

I ended up coming home around 10:45, pretty early night for this summer! Haha. Well, I'm going to head to bed. I'm tired, and slept like shit on that futon last night.
