Oh gosh, I haven't updated in God knows how long, but I've decided to update thanks to Ann suggesting that I do so! So, Ann - this is for you! Aha. xD So, I definitely
apologize for the length of this entry. There's just a
plethora of things to talk about! Lol. Plus I have pictures!
So, this past week was Spring Break. We had a half day on Thursday, and we go back tomorrow, which I'm very pissy about. School is too monotonous. I'm sick of it. Is summer here yet? Blah. Anyway, I hung out with Jordyn and Kelsey Thursday, Friday and Saturday? I believe so! Megan also came over on Friday and then left Saturday. It was the usual hang out, party, play games, lot of fun! It feels so good to have Megan living in Michigan again.
OH! I got my hair done on Friday. (: I got about 10-11 fire red streaks put in my hair and I'm in love it with! I usually get 3-5 but I decided to go crazy this time, aha. And I got about 3 inches cut off with dramatic layers and my bangs are back. Love ittttt. <3
On Sunday after everyone left, I did some serious packing because the next day I was leaving for Kalahari (indoor water park) and also there were two meet and greets to see David Archuleta in Cleveland on Wednesday and Thursday. So I went to that with my friend Elizabeth, her mom and her brother Michael. I already have my story of those days typed out from another site, so here's that and some pictures. *
warning: I typed this out for a fansite. xD Lmao, so that's why I sound very... fan-girlish in it. Bahahhaha.*
Monday & Tuesday - So I woke up at about 7:30 on Monday morning and I straightened my unruly hair and finished a few last minute things that I had to pack. Elizabeth, her brother Michael and her mom came and picked me up around 11:30 (later than planned, lol) and we headed down to Ohio!
Now, besides meeting David, we also went to Kalahari and stayed there Monday night, and for a majority of the day Tuesday. Let me tell you, that park is SO much fun. You could seriously never be bored - there's just so much stuff to do! We met up with Liz's aunt and her cousins and her aunt's friend and it was just a ton of fun. It was nice to be around water, since I haven't been swimming since late August/early September. I missed it so much.
Anyway, I ended up getting two henna tattoos. (: They're amazing - and I'm probably going to head down to Sandusky, OH to get my real tattoo done by the girl who did my two henna ones. She was hilarious and extremely nice. One is on my left wrist and it's the Eye of Horus. Yes, NOT coincidentally, Adam Lambert's tattoo, lol. And the second one is an awesome design down my right hand. Here's pictures of them:

So, after spending all day there on Monday and most of the day Tuesday, we headed out to Cleveland to get ready for the Meet and Greet on Wednesday & Thursday. We went out to eat at this pretty good restaurant by our hotel. We ended up at the hotel around 7:00ish? I honestly don't remember, but I know we got there, checked in, and then Liz and I headed down to the lobby and hit up the computers. We met Heidi from here! She's so adorable, but seems very reserved and quiet. But she definitely talked more the second night. Anyway, we watched Idol up in our room (was Adam amazing or WHAT?! Lol! xD) and then headed back down to the lobby to hang out and freak out about the next day. We seriously couldn't stop spazzing, we were so elated about getting to meet him again! We eventually went to bed and prepared ourselves for what was to come the next day.
Wednesday - We got a decently early start. I didn't get a very good nights sleep, so I was dead in the morning. But I woke up, had my turn in the shower and got ready for the day. I wore my tour shirt (the white one with the green and the picture where he's wearing the hat and the brownish pants.) So, we headed to the IX center around 11:30-12:00ish. There was no one in line, so we decided to ride a few rides. (It's an indoor amusement park.) The first ride wasn't bad, it just hurt, because it was one of those rides where one person squishes the other. Now, the second ride. darn. The second ride hurt like a b!#*($. It was another one of those one person squishes the other, but it was SO fast that I couldn't move and it hurt so so so so so bad. My eyes were watering, and someone got sick on our ride. I felt terrible after that, and I'm usually one who's all for fast, spinning rides. But nope, this one was blech. Liz and I didn't go on any other rides for quite some time after that. But we did end up on the ferris wheel and this cute little space simulator. Those weren't bad on the stomach, so it was all good.
We played 18 holes of mini golf on this cute course they had set up, and once we got done - which was at about 2:30 - Heidi had sent Elizabeth a text saying that she was in line. So, I bought a water and a bag of Cheetos and we headed to the line. We got second row, which is what we wanted. Unfortunately, the M&G didn't start until 6. So, the familiar feeling of waiting for hours on end began. And in the middle of one of my favorite Adam Lambert songs, my iPod died. D: Meh. But there were these 5 girls - all 13 - who ended up in line behind us. They were amazingly nice and funny, so we hung out with them for the 3 1/2 hours we waited for David and just gushed about him and Liz and I answered every question they had about him, lol. It was kind of funny, actually. Since they don't go on any message boards (at least, I don't think they do? lol!).
But about an hour or so before David came out, Q104 (local radio station in Cleveland) did some fun games and gave away prizes and kept us entertaining for QUITE some time, lmao. Archie - the DJ - was hilarious and totally nice. Finally, around 6:15 (David was finishing up his dinner, awhh! Lol!), he came out! Oh my gosh, SO adorable. He was wearing a black v neck tee, a white pull over/zip-up hoodie thing, converse and jeans. Yes, I memorized. xD Anyway, about 25 minutes in, I got up on stage and he signed a picture of me and him from the Detroit Idol Tour. I told him that I went to Lancaster and I loved the show. He graciously said thanks! And tried to hurry onto the next person. We couldn't take pictures with him, just walk-bys. But I got a few good ones! <3
Liz and I got off stage and we hung around by the side for awhile. Thank God we did! He did a Q&A and also sang the best rendition of Happy Birthday I have ever heard. xD He was also singing along to I'm Yours when the autographs started again! Lol. After they did start back up, I noticed something.. People were forming another line back at the original entrance to the line. So, I grabbed Liz and we like, ran to the line. Turns out, David finished early and they let us in AGAIN to get another thing signed! And E and I got there just in time - because there were only 3 people behind us and then they cut it off. D: Ahaha. I went on stage, and I asked him to sign my shirt. He said, "Yeah, sure, no problem!" And he held down my shirt and leaned over the table to sign it. I was about to have heart failure. I said something else to him, but I just can't remember for the life of me. xD Lol! But seriously - at that point I couldn't believe that I had just met David twice in the course of 2 hours. I was in awe.
We headed back to the hotel around 8 and stayed in the lobby. It was Liz, Heidi, Michael (Liz's brother) and I. We watched Bones, American Idol & then the Fox 8 news - because there was a David interview! (: Aha. It was a decently early night.
Thursday - I woke up around 9:30 and got ready. It was a sluggish morning. I'm just so drained from running around and not getting good sleep and such. So, we got all of our stuff together, loaded up the car and checked out of the hotel at around 11:15. We made it to the IX Center at around 11:30. By then, the line was half full. But I realized something - we would be near front row, if not front row for the Q&A session! So I was pumped for that. The half hour waiting for David absolutely FLEW by and before we knew it, he was back out! Right in front of us again. (: Today, he wore a red tee shirt, a gray sweater, jeans and some kind of shoes that looked like chucks, idk. They were cute, though! Aha. Anyway, the line was moving fast.
Eventually, it hit 1:00. Guess what?! We were right in the FRONT ROW for the Q&A!!! I was to the far right of the stage, but the DJ came to my side first. He was like, "Anyone have any questions?!" I screamed, "I DO!" And he was like, "You do? Here you go! You have to move to the middle, though." He freaking handed me the microphone and I had to scoot to the middle of the row. Smack center with David. I was shaking - because I was the first question and well, it's freaking David Archuleta! So, I asked my question over the speakers in front of hundreds of people. I was like, "Hi David!" I felt so stupid. xD But I laughed, he laughed and returned the statement with a wave and a hi! And then I went on to ask him, "So, I know your first solo tour just ended. And I was wondering: What was your favorite song to perform on stage?" And for the next minute or so, he looked straight at me, as I was SHAKING like no other, and began to say how it really depended on the night, but Zero Gravity was always one of his favorites because it was upbeat and fun and he could really get into it. And I said that I loved the song - it's awesome. And he said something about it not being released and such, I don't remember. I was so shaken up. So, he said thanks for the question, I said 'no - thank you!' or something, and passed the mic on. I went back to my spot and my knees almost gave out. My legs wouldn't stop shaking. I've never gotten like that around David before, so it was a weird feeling.
So, some other questions were asked and some were hilarious. Like, one girl asked him to marry her - SO funny. I was waiting for a question like that. His reaction was priceless. He said something about having to get to know the person or something, it was cute. Eventually someone asked if he would kiss their sister. And he was like, "What? I don't kiss - but I can give her a high five. -Laughs nervously-" It was hilarious! The only thing was that he was super sick, so he kept apologizing for his stuffy nose, lol. I felt bad, but it was cute. xD
The M&G started back up and I was on stage within 5 minutes. I got a shoutout video for Christian! (Yes, I know you love me. xD LOL.) And I got a picture for my cousin signed. She has special needs and absolutely loves David. She knows all of his songs and talks about him all the time! Her 17th birthday is on the 18th of this month, and we told her that I was going to try and get an autograph. And I did, but we're going to tell her that I didn't and surprise her and put it in her birthday card and give it to her on Sunday. (: She's going to FREAK. Ahaha. <3 So, I told him that I hoped that he feels better and that it was great seeing him again! I got off the stage and Liz told me he just sang in her ear. I was so happy for her. I got to ask a question, he sang in her ear, lmao.
We left the place at around 1:30 and headed home. The entire experience was just a blur, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. And seeing David again was completely unreal. <3 So, if you got through this whole thing, you deserve a cookie. Unfortunately, I have no cookies. So you're going to have to settle for pictures instead! Lol!

Phew, now that that's doneeee - onto the rest of the week! Lol.
Thursday was just a bummy day, I ate Thai food for dinner and caught up on some much needed sleep. But Friday was a more eventful day! I got up, ate, took a shower and all that jazz. Then Kelsey came over after her soccer practice. We talked for quite awhile, because I hadn't seen her since Saturday and a lot of stuff happened from both sides. Megan ended up coming over too! (: We all talked for a little while longer and then Jonas came over. And when that happens, you know crazy shit is going to happen. xD Aha. Well, we had a bonfire and it was actually a pretty chill but hilarious one. We had White Castle for dinner, blech.
After we ate, we were around the fire from about 8:30 - 12:45ish. Jordyn came over for awhile, but she just didn't seem herself, it was really weird. She stayed for about an hour, hour and a half - which is very unlike her - and then left. Regardless, Jonas, Megan, Kelsey and I all stayed out, sang along to a few songs and then we actually got into a few deep conversations about the future, our purpose on Earth, the string theory and such. It was really nice. I love having conversations like that.
Eventually Jonas walked down to his house and Kelsey, Megan and I all went inside. I don't really remember what happened after that.. Lmao. I was so tired.
Then yesterday Megan and I woke up real late, I'm not sure about Kelsey. But we watched TV for a bit, but it was SO beautiful out that we took a walk to the park randomly located on this street in my neighborhood, aha. Anyway, I started to get cramps and feel queasy and such. But we stayed for a little while, until it was like attack of the spiders and bugs at the picnic table we were at - we headed back to my house after that. We finished watching the Food Network Challenge and then watched a ridiculous marathon of Paranormal State, which I've never really given a chance since I'm a huge Ghost Hunters fan. But it's actually really good! Kelsey left for a bit and Megan and I just relaxed for a bit, I was so tired because I started my period - gah, kill me. I hate it. D: But I took some ibuprofen and began to feel much, much better.
Kels came back over after about 2 hours and we decided to randomly go see 17 Again. We walked up to the movies around 7:45 - which was surprisingly VERY dead for a Saturday night. Anyway, the movie "started" at 8:10 and it was such a good movie! I was expecting crap, so it was a very pleasant surprise. We walked back to my house around 10:00, and these kids who were seriously like.. 12, kept riding their bikes in circles around us. Megan kept calling them douches, it was hilarious. xD
When we came back to my house, we all just talked for a bit. I, again, started to feel real sick. I went to bed early, but just ended up in the bathroom. My stomach was doing circles. I came very, very close to throwing up, but I swallowed it back down. My body hates me when I'm on my period. Gah. asdkflajs;k. Anyway, I finally got to sleep and by the time I woke up today, Kelsey was gone, aha. Megan and I hung around for a bit and her dad came to get her around 2. Now I've been just laying around, I cleaned my room up a bit from the clothes monster that had eaten it and just taking in the fact that I have to go back to school tomorrow. Gah.
I actually think I'm done now! Aha. Damn, this was a long ass entry. ;P Aha. Maybe I should update more often and this wouldn't happen. Oh gosh. I'll probably end up doing that, so, be on the lookout for more updates coming! (:
