begin. There is a lot going on now.
School schedule: no clue if I posted it, so here it is:
Governor's School:
Mon, Wed, every other Fri: ITE/Comp Tech then Chemistry
Tues, Thurs, every other Fri: Adv. Math Analysis then English and Research 11
ITE is boring. Basically, how to use Microsoft Office. Not only is it common fucking sense, but I also primarily use a Mac. -__-
Chem is interesting. Some complain that the teacher isn't awesome, but I love her. The only thing I don't like is the historic aspect (history of atomic theory, history of period table, etc.) I find the Chem part easy enough.
AMA is so-so. The teacher is inadvertently hilarious in a generally silly way. Not an awesome math teacher, but it works. Plus it's practically the same class for the third time to me. Same problems from Adv Alg/Trig.
Eng/Res is pretty awesome because I love the teacher. We haven't really done much yet, though, so that might change.
Back at THS I have more classes.
3-A is Latin I all year long. (45min class) It's online, which means I have a teacher for questions and such, but I read the material on my own. Since I'm really interested in it, I do fine.
3-B is AP US History. APUSH fucking sucks because we have half the class time we need to get shit done. The other day I took a chapter quiz with NO lecture. Today I wrote a barely-taught-on essay. I'm not complaining about the teacher (though he is a douche) as much as the lack of time. When he lectures, I get it. He connects the dots. This American Pageant textbook is jumpy and I can't follow shit. This class is year-long as well.
4th this semester is French IV. It's okay. Just me and one other classmate in the French III class. She teaches us while they work on assignments and vice-versa.
Next semester 4th is Spanish II.
Uhg, fuck the rest of this entry. I'm tired as hell.end. | | |
