Where EXACTLY were you when you entered 2009? I was at home, alone, and annoyed that I had to work until 11 p.m. that night & go back in at 7 a.m. the next morning. Happy New Year, right?

You just drank 7 shots, what would you be doing? Falling down! lol!!

Ever licked someone's cheek or forehead? Yes. Shawn & I will get in wrestling matches & if he's got my hands pinned & his face is close enough, I'll lick his face. I don't know why it bothers him but it does. Makes him laugh & grosses him out a bit. Either way, it puts the 'fight' back in my favor.

When did you last throw up and where? I last threw up Monday night in the bathroom. Near as I can tell, it was all from nerves. I hadn't felt sick before or since.

Have you ever flown on an airplane? Many times, as recent as this past Tuesday.

What happened at 9:00 am today? The housekeepers came in & started work. I talked to Barbara & Virginia about a room that was left dirty from yesterday but was marked as clean. Embarrassing because I reserved that room for a Rewards member only to have him come back & tell me it was dirty. It still had food & the ironing board out. Oops. I gave him an upgrade for it.

Do you wanna tell someone how you feel at the moment? No. Everyone pretty much knows how I feel about them at the moment.

Who have you texted today? I texted a 'Good Morning!' to Shawn when I got to work.

What holiday is your birthday closest to? Memorial Day. My birthday's tomorrow.

How many different things did you drink today? Apple Juice and a Coke.

Do you think you've changed over the past year? Probably but I don't really know in what way.

How old do you think you'll be when you have kids? I was 31 still when Shawn & I got married & became a stepmom. I'd LOVE to tell Shawn any day now that I'm pregnant.

Were you happy when you woke up today? No but I wasn't UNhappy. Just kind of... blah.

If you could change your eye color, would you? Yes, I'd love a true green color. Not just a greenish hazel.

What were you doing at 8 am this morning? Assigning room numbers to tonight's reservations.

Do you spend a lot of time with your parents? I wish. I haven't seen them in a couple of years. They live in Arizona now & I live in Arkansas. They'll be moving to Kansas at the end of next week though. They'll be about 8 hours away as opposed to 20+ hours.

Do you flip your pillow to the cold side? No

Do you sleep with one leg off the bed? No. It stems from the monster-under-the-bed fear as a kid. I was afraid of someone grabbing my arm/leg if I left it dangling over the edge.

How many times have you eaten sushi? Ick. Never.

Are you a big fan of thunderstorms? Pretty big, unless it's tornado season. Then, not so much.

Do you ever think "what if" about anything? Not really.

Does any part of your body hurt right now? Not really. My leg is a little uncomfortable but it's okay.

Do you have an accent? I don't know. I was told by a guy from NY state that I had kind of a monotone non-accent kind of thing going on. He compared me to news reporters that don't have a discernible accent.

Are you good at giving directions? Yeah. Kind of have to be, working at a hotel.

Have you ever been back-stabbed by a friend? Yes and no. My MIL has but I don't know if I'd consider her a friend.

Who was the last person you cried in front of? *thinks hard* Oh! Shawn. Had to think for a minute. Didn't really remember when I last cried. lol

What will you be doing in an hour? Sitting here, watching the girls go to lunch. Waiting for people to come in & give me something to do.

Where was the FIRST time you ever saw the person you like? I may have seen him around school but the first time I ever met Shawn was when his friend, Jim Haynes, picked up Laura & I after school & gave us a ride home. Geez, that was forever & a decade ago.

Anyone of the opposite sex been on your mind lately? Shawn, of course. I wish I could talk to him, be with him, but he's at home, asleep, and I'm at work.

Someone knocks on your window at 2 am, what do you say? "Who's there?" of course, just out of habit & instinct. Then something like, "What do you want?" or "I'm calling 911!" Shawn would be at work & I don't know anyone else who'd do that.

Will you be in a relationship next month? If I have anything to say about it, yes.

How do you feel about abortions? I personally wouldn't have one & I'd try my damnedest to keep my child from having one but I'm pro-choice. I'd rather it be legal and regulated and happen in a professional, sterile office than on a card table in someone's back room or garage. Making it illegal does not make it go away. That just makes it go underground.

Did any particular thing brighten up your day today? My husband came to see me, unexpectedly, before he went home after work.
