URBAN LEGENDS
stolen from britt surveys, I think? 1st time I've swiped from him/her.

Have You Ever...

Eaten the deadly Pop Rock and soda combination? No
Found a razor blade or a needle in a bag of Halloween candy? No. Our fear was always finding one in a piece of fruit. Yes, I'm SO old that people still gave out fruit & homemade popcorn balls when I went Trick or Treating.
Played Bloody Mary? Yes, once, in preschool. Scared the wits out of myself with the anticipation but nothing happened.
Played 100 Candles? Never heard of it.
Spent the night in a cemetary? No, but I would
Had a spider lay eggs in your brain? Is that what that tickle-y feeling is?
Picked up a hitchhiker? Never.
Played with a Ouija Board? Yes. We both swore we didn't move the thingy but something or someONE was moving it.
Laughed as a hearse drove by? Who does that?
Saved up the Tootsie Roll Pop wrappers with the stars on them? I didn't save them but I sent a couple of them in. Got a nice form letter about it but that's it.

Do You Believe In...

Ghosts? Yes.
Curses? No
Witchcraft? No
VooDoo? No
Ouija Boards? No
Bloody Mary? Obviously not
Alligators living in the NYC sewer system? I would think it'd be too cold.

Are You Afraid Of...

The dark? No. Dark is just the absence of light. I'm afraid of who's IN the dark and waiting for me that I can't see.
Spiders? No, they just give me the creeps.
Rats and mice? No. Pets.
Alligators? No but I'm not about to get close & friendly with one either.
Escaped mental patients with hooks for hands? If I ever saw one..., sure.
Cemetaries? No. Fascinating. Where's my camera.
Ghosts? No
Witches? No
Axe murderers? Well, duh!
Dogs? Nope
Water? I'm afraid of drowning
Walking home alone at night? Probably. I'm pretty paranoid about being in the dark.
Being alone in your house after dark? A little. It's taken me about 4 months to start sleeping with all of the lights off after Shawn started working nights.
Fire? No

Famous Stories...

Was Marilyn Monroe really murdered? I'm not sure.
Did Mikey from the Life Cereal ads die from drinking soda & Pop Rocks? No, I saw him once on a Where Are They Now?-type show a few years ago.
Did the actor who played Beaver really die in Vietnam? Absolutely not
Does President Lincoln's ghost really haunt the White House? It's possible.
Is Elvis really dead? YES!! Let him rest already!
What about Tupac? I really don't care.

More Have You Ever...

Seen the ghost in Three Men and a Baby? I didn't know there was one
Seen a real ghost? No but I've felt/heard someone walking up right behind me only to see that no one was there.
Played with Tarot cards? Tried.
Played Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board? I think so?
Been hypnotized? No but I'd like to be.
Seen the Mothman? No. Strange movie.
Been posessed? Nope, no head spinning for me. I took an extra muscle relaxer once and I felt like one of my eyes was going to start twirling though. Yeah, THAT was a weird feeling.

Okay, gotta actually get back to work now.

Is the title of this entry from Michael buble? Haha, I just love him so much I thought I'd say something.

RYC: Oh okay. i figured it had to be someone else, but i've never seen the Halloween movies. Or at least not sober enough to actually remember them. At that point, it's more about laughing hysterically at other people's comments than actually paying attention to the movie.
