Dragon entry - be forewarned

I have to say, I'm going to be pretty geeky about this.

I'm excited that my dragons bred successfully the first time I tried! Yay!

I bred Fenn (the guardian) and Rozeen (the pinkish purple-y one) and got an egg. That one's going to be another Guardian. Next, I bred Blay-Zing and Aija and got an egg that looks like it'll take after it's momma.

Chris & I had a bad morning today. I was hurting this morning and he was very helpful while we were going through his shower routine. After that, he didn't want to do a darn thing he was asked. He didn't want to get dressed. He didn't want to come into the kitchen for breakfast. He didn't want to EAT his breakfast. He didn't want to put his coat on. BUT he would tell you that he WANTED to do what he was told & that he was tired of getting in trouble all the time. Every time he said that, I'd turn it around on him by telling him that if he does what he's told, he won't get in trouble. Didn't matter a tinker's damn. He told me all that he WANTED to do but wouldn't do what he NEEDED to do first. For example, he wanted to play with his Diego doll & watch Blue's Clues but he had to finish getting dressed & eat breakfast first. He didn't want to do that so he just sat & stared off into space instead. Before you ask, no, he's not allowed to watch TV while he's eating because he'll veg out on that & it'll be another fight to keep him focused. So, he didn't get to do a damn thing he wanted all morning. I expected it to carry over into his school day but he surprised me by having a good day. Yay for him! I just hope we have a better morning tomorrow.

I work at a hotel, right? We have a nuclear plant outside of town. Because of this, we have crews that will stay for several weeks at a time. There's one lady staying for 6 weeks & she's about halfway through her stay. She's at the point where she's tired of talking to her crew & talking on the phone. She's wanting some one on one time with someone new. We struck up a conversation the other day and she's chatted me up a couple of times since. Now, she's a nice lady and all but once she gets going, she's like the Energizer Bunny! She just keeps talking and talking and talking! Once, I got a phone call & ended up making a reservation. I thought that once she saw I was busy, she'd go watch that movie that she said was calling her name. Nope, she even rejected two of her own calls once she got started again. Now, I work 8 hour shifts but I only have about 2 hours of actual WORK. The rest of the 6 hours is basically waiting for someone to give me something to do. This was Sunday morning. THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO! She did have some interesting stories &, like I said, she's a nice lady. I just wanted to get back to my book.
