There was a display of various produce in containers that were resting in ice chips/pellets. I grabbed a handful when Chris' back was turned, walked around him and put it right down the back of his shirt. Now, the shirt wasn't tucked in so the majority of it just slipped right through but I guess some of it stayed because he stood up in the cart, with his hands down the seat of his pants & yelled loud enough for just about everyone to hear, "I'VE GOT TO GET THE ICE OUT OF MY PANTS!!!" Stopped me dead in my tracks & just had me rolling! The look on his face was just priceless. He wasn't too happy with me though. *snork*

It was one of the last steps to take before Chris' lawsuit finally settled. She hadn't contacted Chris in over a month & the only time she saw him was when we sought her out at the store where she works. We all did our business and left. Not once did she even ask how Chris was.

What is last really sweet thing someone did for you? Umm... Well, he hasn't done it yet but Shawn told me that he was going to get me a $250 gift card for Barnes & Noble for Christmas. He says to just drop me off & that he'd be back to pick me up about 4 hours later. When he told me this, I actually teared up. No husband. No child. Just me. In a book store. With more money than I'll probably spend. *sigh* I'm so looking forward to it.

When was the last time karma bit you in the ass? I used to look at parents with handicapped children & think, "There but for the grace of God, go I." Now, I have fallen hopelessy & hardcore in love with my stepson who is mentally handicapped. So, yes, Karma has bitten me in the ass but does that necessarily mean that it was a bad thing?
