Christmas already?! Well, I'm working on Christmas. I was on facebook one day and seen my cousin's status saying how she was through with her Christmas shopping and was like what!! I hadn't even really thought about it yet. I'm not a last minute shopper but it just seems to have crept up so fast this year. She told me it was all on layaway. But I really hate that Walmart did away with their layaway cause it was a guaranteed place to find EVERYONE's gifts lol. So, I went to K-mart the other night. I'm not much on that store. They tend to be pricey on things oddly. But they're the only ones with layaway around here that I know of. I only got the boys some things for now. More or less just to feel like I have at least gotten started. Here it goes.

I know I got something else for Michael but I can't remember at the moment. I just know I was one up on his gifts. The shirts I actually have because I seen them on my way out of the store on sale. Along with some for me.  But I got all this before asking the boys what they would like for Christmas. So yesterday I did that (which caused us to miss the bus lol). Of couse they want expensive things...Nintendo DS, PS3, which I told them I was highly doubtful. They got simpler with some PS2 games, movies, William said anything that has a wolf on it (YES!!) But he's getting harder to buy for. He wants cooler things, expensive things. But at the same time I see him running around playing with toys still. He'll sit and color in coloring books half the night. Plus I don't want to spend a lot on things that make him just sit on his ass. He's lazy enough and we're trying to cure that. I will get him a movie though...games, I don't know. He did ask for a soccer ball...easy. I want to get them both an art set as well.
Parents and Family Every year we get Jeff's mom a porcelain doll...we don't usually get his dad anything. He's got every tool known to man...and I don't really know what else he's into. Jeff doesn't seem to either. His mom had every bit of over a thousand dolls and I'm like can't we get her something else? or you get her the doll and I'm getting her something else. I mean I know she likes them but it feels like an easy out to gift buying. I want to get her and my mom both "The Waltons" season on dvd. Not sure which season but they don't care. It's 30 bucks at Walmart. As for the rest of his family...I usually just bake cookies and pack them nicely in tins or something and give out. As for my family I usually by all the kids and my 2 sisters something and brother. I don't know why we do mine but not his. Usually because I know they will be giving us gifts and Jeff's family don't except for the parents. I usually only spend about 10 bucks per member on my side though. My dad is hard too. He's a hunter but seems to have it all in that area, so it's usually a fall back to a shirt or something you never seen worn lol. So, I don't know yet. I can't ask mom because it will be the same every year.."don't buy us anything" blah blah blah. It's aggravating! I love to buy things for everyone!! Not because I feel I have to but because I enjoy it!
As for money...ha ha. Well, at least I'm working so that will be a bit easier. Usually Jeff's mom loans us about $300 for Christmas and we pay her back at tax time. It was mentioned this year but not recently so I don't know. The stuff I put on layaway came to $110. The big gift for the boys is $120. An air hockey/table tennis table I saw at K-mart. I didn't put it on layaway just in case I couldn't afford to get it though. But we have this extra work to do for work that pays $500 here on the farm. Problem? Just getting started. Usually after work I'm so tired I don't want to think about doing more work. Days we're off early I'm trying to catch up on house cleaning let alone cleaning things for the farm. But we have to get on the ball because we plan on using that for Christmas. At least as far as I know we are. I don't know what to get Jeff yet. ah! He's almost as hard as family. Something with Tony Stewart or GNR. Some nice jeans too. Maybe a cd or something. I just wish I could find something unique. I'm unique like that lol.
Anyways, that's it for now. I'm getting a headache thinking of it lol. Plus I need to get some coffee in me before waking everyone up for school and work. Boss lady said if it's nice and sunny today we could take off as soon as we get birds walked and houses tilled. If not we'll be hooking up some extra waters and stuff. blah. I need to figure out my hours because I forgot to write them down. -smh- Anyways, ciao! |

yeah for the most part i was done in sept. i mean i just found stuff randomly for people and im like cool xmas gift. which worked out godod since i lost my job so i at least have one gift for everyone even if it isnt everything i wanted to geth them
