I swear work has been murderous lately and where's the apprecitation? When something goes wrong around here or was misunderstood it's a complete breakdown of the system. Usually we are the ones paying for it. Like today we got our last house of baby peepee turkey's. The house they are in is one of the ones that was not set up for young but because they changed everything and we are getting twice the birds we needed 2 more set-up for baby's. The boss lady bought all these used drinker bells from another farm to fill these two houses. Then she bought some of these fountain stems to replace bad ones in those and some that we had. The orders I got them were to replace the broken ones and the long white stem ones. When she said broken she meant ones that you could see, visibly, were broken because we weren't hooking them up to water in order to see whether or not they were just worn out and not shutting off water properly to keep from flooding. Today some of those used drinkers from other farms were in the houses and they of course now have water going to them and they are overflowing no matter how much you adjust them. We've fixed as many as we could find. You have to remember there are 104 of these bell drinkers. We've been off work for close to three hours and she's already called Jeff in to fix some things and is bitching left and right about the stems. She said that they were suppose to all be replaced. Jeff asked me if she said that and I told him no just the broken ones and the long white ones. If she had intended that why didn't she buy enough to do it. When I started out this morning I only had 5 left from before and we used them. uh...5 stems....104 drinkers? And she's the farm manager? Besides she was down there for the past 2 days and she didn't notice that they weren't the new ones? Why, if she's farm manager, didn't she check to see things were being done properly? Especially me being a new employee with virtually no experience? I even used old ones that she used parts from here there and everywhere to make to replace some when she was here one day when I had Mike's kids helping me. Oh and she's made because the black "t" things that connect to small drinkers to one big drinker aren't tight. We were suppose to tighten them. They were the ones that came from her house that her and Mike's kids put together....yet I have to recheck their work? I am ever so close as I told Jeff to letting her have it. He says to just do whatever needs doing and not to worry about it. Bullshit. But we can't afford to lose our jobs and home because of her. I've had enough though. period.
