Don't burst my bubble! :]
Yesterday I went to Mom's for Tristin's 4th birthday party. It was nice. They had a messed up ice cream cake which was delicious. It was messed up because at some point it had apparently melted slightly and slid up against the side of the box so it was smushed. :] And boy did that kid make out good. I was worried because I wasn't able to get him anything really because Jeff doesn't get paid until today. I just bought this little two dollar helicopter that flies and a kite. He was excited, hell he's 4 and I keep telling myself that. But even though he doesn't know the difference in money nor will he probably remember this birthday I still feel like crap. His little brother Alex (one of the twins who is 2) had popped his shoulder out of joint this past week. I thought that he popped it out of socket but apparently they are two separate things, who knew? Anyways, we think he did it again yesterday. We all tried rolling his shoulder the way the doc did but to no avail until Mom did it later and he started using his arm again. He didn't seem to be in any pain because of it unless you picked him up under his arms then he would whimper. I don't know. It didn't work, then it worked, then it didn't. I think if it is that easy to go in and out she should take him to the doc's to have it checked. Knowing her, she won't. heh. God, I wish she would care about her kids more than she claims too. Anyways, back to Tristin. He got a swing set which was awesome. They didn't have it put together yet because they have to make room for it on the side of the house. I think it's pretty cool because the only swing set we had growing up was the one that Mom and Dad got Megan when she was 3 or 4. Now that her son is 4 Mom and Dad again bought one. Neat.
So I haven't got much done in the way of packing. I'm not in a rush though and really want to get the house cleaned first. I can't help packing some things though because cleaning is the same shit I do every day and packing is a change and it means less to clean since it will all be in a box lol. Jeff finds out today what the salary is I think. I asked him yesterday when I went to get some packing tape to do boxes with if I was wasting my time... cause I'd hate to pack and then it not go through. He was like no, we're moving I just have to find out how much the salary is. I was like yeah, but what if you don't like it? He said that it wouldn't go under $600 bi-weekly, Jess told him but she was pushing for more. But if that is all he gets he's okay with that and we're moving. lol. good. But as I was telling Jenn Jenn yesterday it's gonna take way more boxes than I thought. I had 8 to start with (haha jenn thought that was all I thought I needed and was like "i can't pack my room with 8 boxes") and these were pretty decent size boxes. I used two just cleaning out the "game" closet. and I didn't get it all packed. This is a closet that houses mostly our board games and such with other random junk included. I thought it would be a good place to start seeing as none of that is essential to every day living. I told Jeff though that I didn't want to leave the place messy like everyone else has when they moved out of here. I know we won't get our deposit back because soem of the rugs are beyond repair and we owe him tons of money but he's been so great through out these last 6 years that I can't do that to him. I mean your not gonna find another land-lord like him. I need to borrow mom's rug shampooer as well. I know the rugs aren't worth it but ours sorta smells like cat piss though. I have cleaned it by hand when they did it but you can still catch a whiff on occasion so I want to buy some of that rug cleaner for pets and use it with the shampooer which can scrup carpets way better than me. I would like to have a new mattress as well but I don't know how we can afford that. This pay check won't be that big seeing as it's only one week and a day out of two weeks and it's by the hour until his salary starts so yeah, he didn't have many hours because they don't usually work more than 4 hours a day. He's not sure how much he's getting paid by the hour. I figured what he got paid when he worked the clean-out but I don't know. If so that was $15 an hour. I really hope so but I don't want to get my hopes up.
Well, I need to get out of here and get something done, cleaning or packing, either or. ttfn!
