He's always so chipper and positive and optimistic and has the kind of faith that moves mountains. He sees good in everyone and everything. If life hands him lemons, he really can make lemonade out of it.

I wish I was more like him. I'm such a perfectionist and a control freak. Maybe I shouldn't compare myself to him, but I do and I always end up thinking "god, I'm total scum."
My boyfriend is an optimist, while I'm a pessimist. He is so easy going and I'm such a control freak. I can relate to this post. But also, I'm a lot of fun and outgoing, while he can be boring and shy. So I see how we balance each other well! :]
The fact that you're awed by him makes your relationship a beautiful one. Don't underestimate the possibility that he might be awed by you for being so different from him.
my boyfriend is like this too all the time. he is hardly mad and stuff. i used to be very envious but his mood started to rub off on me and he just helped me be more positive and stuff. maybe you can talk to your boyfriend and he can help you out.
