I smoked in front of a guy I liked. I work at a convenience store, and they sell cigarettes, so I have to hand them out to people all day, every day. Sometimes it's okay, but other times, I can't do it without thinking "ugly ugly ugly ugly ugly." I just think it's an ugly habit, and I'm so fucking embarrassed that I did it in front of someone that significant. I know it's irrational, but that's why it's my secret.

I hate smoking... but I do it occasionally. I'm sure he wouldn't think any less of you, unless he's weird and is like totally against smoking like one of my ex's was.

Disgusting habit, you should quit. I know of many men that find the habit will *completely* turn them off dating someone.

I agree with the above noter, quit smoking now and you'll never have to worry about it again. After smoking for like 15 years, I quit in 2003 and I've never regretted it. It wasn't easy, but it was totally worth it.
