Weight Loss

As I suspected, since changing my diet again my weight has gone up. it's currently at 80.0Kgs.

I don't mind though as I know that if I stay consistant on this diet it WILL eventually go down. My calorie intake is slightly higher than it was before but it's not alot of calories.

Although I know it will go down slowly, It could go alot quicker if I manage to get off my ass everyday and walk for half an hour to an hour. The best thing about this new diet is that I'm getting all the nutrients I need. I just need to stay consistent! It's really bad that sometimes I binge on alcohol and pizza and maccas. If I can eliminate all 3 of those things, I should see my weight drop significantly in the next 3-4 weeks. But as I said... I NEED to walk and cut those 3 things out.

Today I have done well. I had my planned breakfast and I'm about to have my planned lunch. Dinner? Hmmmm.... I don't know what dinner is yet. I do know that it won't exceed 400 calories. As for snackage, I'll eat less than 100 calories for snacking if I can. Each lunch and breakfast is 210 calories each. I know I can do this. I've lost weight on this diet before. The biggest problem is getting the energy to exercise which I have had the problem of these past few weeks but now that I'm on this new diet and actually getting all the nutrients my body needs, It should be effortless to do so. If I can manage to stay well away from alcohol, I'll have the energy. I drank last night. As from today there will be no more. Alcohol can now wait til I've reached 65. That's only 15 kilos away lol. But still even then it will be drunk in moderation.

^_^ Love your positivity. I am "binging" on alcohol tonight- I will have 3-4 beers tonight and not anymore at all for probably another 2-3 months. If you can get up the motivation for 2 days in a row of walks, it is easy to get in the habit! You just *want* to go for that walk after the first couple of times, that is what happened with us (:

For snacking, my favorite thing to do is chop/slice up a bunch of veggies once a week, to last the whole week. I like cucumbers but they don't keep very long. Carrots, on the other hand, will last the whole week. Then when I want to snack I will just snack on veggies, they have virtually no calories (or like, 5 per piece!) unless you are the type that needs dressing to eat them... which I am not, people tell me I am lucky for not liking salad dressing

Mmm, I love dairy as well. Shawn bought some low-fat cottage cheese today so I got some canned peaches to go with, I love cottage cheese and peaches! I made sure they were the kind in just water and pear juice, not syrup and sugar

heee! I love cheese! It is my favorite. I never feel guilty after I eat cheese... maybe that's bad

oh & yes canned fruit! I am looking into how to can my own fruit next summer, so that I can know exactly what goes into it and exactly what I'm eating out of the can!
