 The time traveler
I had a conversation with a friend earlier in the day, and we discussed weather or not we would go back in time to change an even if we had the chance. She said yes, but I thought about it a little more before I said anything. I thought of that movie The Butterfly Effect. (if you haven't seen it yet, you should) After all it would have to be a very careful decision. The slightest change to my past would, of course, affect the events after that moment. I started thinking also if I changed one thing what would happen to the other people around me. I probably wouldn't know the people I'm closest to now. I would probably have a whole different group of people hanging around me. Then I thought about the fun, yet dumb, stuff I did growing up. Often leading to trouble but in the end I did learn something. I probably would've never learned those lessons and might be a whole different person. It gets really complicated as you can see.
All these thoughts were aroused by the sudden incounter with the former? love of my life. (i put a question mark on purpose. not sure exactly what that was.) Any hoo
But back to my question: If you had the chance to go back to a place in time in your past, either to relive or redo, would you? and why??
