I was trying to help a friend change her network password. She can't remember it and has multiple computers she wants to connect to the network. She has an hp mini laptop (if that helps) at first we tried to view the password by going to network settings but it would only allow to change the wpa2 password (which I thought was the wep key and the correct way to establish a new password to allow others to connect to the router and access the interent) by changing the password the computer then said it was aquiring a connection. (Which it failed to do) I tried resetting the router and the computer and now the computer will not locate the router. This was an epic fail to help a friend. Someone please tell me what I should do..
