I only have one worthwhile thing to make note of on here. Surprisingly, it isn't incredibly depressing, nor is it about how bad my luck has been as of late.
Derek and I went to Wal Mart last night, much to his dismay, as he had just gotten home from work and truly just wanted to relax, but seeing as how we didn't have any thing to drink and our faucet water is a little more than questionable...plus, I wanted to get our mom's day shopping done with so we could leave that part behind, I left him no alternative. On our way to the soda aisle, we passed through the aisle with all the plates, stopping at the square bowls, and sqaure cups. Yes, square, not round, square. He turned to me and said, "I can't wait until we get our apartment in California together, so we can buy all our square dishes, and on round bowl to contradict the rest." I haven't felt as happy as that in a while. With everything going wrong right now, it just felt good to look on the bright side with him for once. California is definately looking really good, I've just been so fed up with the people in this town, the redundancy of it all, and I know that people as a whole are going to be the same, but not only is it the people here, this town just drags everyone down. I have yet to make a friend at work, except the two people that conveniently ask me to join them on their WoW servers the day after my computer breaks, (We did order our new one by the way, ships the twelth, takes a week to get here, so we have a good while before I'm back in my old habits.) but I could hardly call them friends. Sure, we talk about WoW, but in all truthfulness, we know nothing of each other, except that one is gay, the other has six kids at twenty-nine (i kid you not). But I guess that's how all friendships start, right? It's been a long time since i've met anyone new...I'm not good at this.
