We have been working our butts off trying to get this place to show well. Problem is we have way too much stuff crammed in this box. I have been trying to paint ceilings, wallpapered the master bath and B is putting some new tile in there as I type this. It amazes me at the cheap materials used to build this damn double wide. Since we have had it we have upgraded several things like the carpet, flooring, appliances, countertops etc.
The lady that is majorly interested is coming Saturday with her adult kids. They want to hike the woods looking for additional building spots. Eventually they have plans to place 2 additional homes on the property. We have some gorgeous areas up in the woods with mountain views. I am hoping and praying that they love it and we can make the deal and be out of here by the end of January.
I am so ready to get back to civilization. I am ready to live in a real house with real nails (instead of staples) and a basement. I hate storms and since we have been here I have been a nervous wreck. The storms here make the ones back home look like a summer breeze. We have rode out a few pretty nasty ones here. The people living in town with no basements go to one of the churches. That is out of the question for us. By the time we would go it would be to late and the last place I would want to be is in a vehicle. 2nd last place would be in this box.
We will miss the woods and the privacy but the rest nope.
I want to thank everyone that read my story and all the nice comments. Rest assured, I will be checking top to bottom for any weird feelings I get looking at our next house. On top of that I will smudge the entire place with sage. We are still counting on the one we looked at. It has a warm homey feeling and I think that is the one. I hope it is the one. I am a firm believer that if its meant to be then it will happen, if not then God has another plan.
