Well Shaun White didn't reach the podium tonight. Such a huge disappointment. If I feel as down it about as I do then I can't imagine how he feels.
The half pipe was shit.
Granted, he's 27 and he's all beat to hell from injures. A lot of factors played into his fourth place performance and I feel bad for him. This may or may not be his last Olympics but I know it won't be his last competition. He's the best snowboarder alive. Sure Yuri managed a clean run in the slush pit they called a pipe.. But if it would have been smooth and frozen things would have been different.
I've ridden on a choppy half pipe and its ridiculous that these guys could do what they did on it.
Anyway, props to Yuri, I feel for Shaun White.
