I'm trying not to get too worked up over the interview on Sunday. But my mother is not happy that the place she told me to apply to didn't call me. She wanted me to work at Panera Bread since I have bakery experience. I did apply.
They didn't call me. Clearly I have control over this.
Lush did call me though, and she was instantly pissy about giving me a ride to the interview. Then the time for switched around and it was a HUUUUUUGE big deal that my dad has to take her to work so that we'll have the car. This is the woman who's been asking me daily how many job applications I filled out online, and any time I go out she asks if I filled anything out.
Color me confused.
My friend Guen wants to set me up with a guy her sister works with. Apparently he's got the same nerdy taste in movies/tv. His name is Daniel. I haven't spoken to him yet but Mary and Guen are super excited. Apparently they're usually pretty pod at setting people up.
It feels weird. I've been ignoring that part of my life for so long.... It's just weird. :/
