Girl of Green Eyes

Kind of sorta a little besotted.

01/12/2009

So I was bad and didn’t update all weekend.
My face hurts from smiling so much.
I’m not kidding.
I’ve been in the best mood ever since Friday.

Pete was really sweet and held my hand going down my driveway.
1) Because it’s kind of a death trap when it’s dry outside let alone snowing and icing.
And
2) I’m a walking gravity anomaly. I fall down A LOT

We went to a nice little motel type thing up in Jefferson.
Mostly because his parents were supposed to go somewhere but canceled cause one of the two didn’t feel well.
Or something of the sort.
And he had refused jobs so that he could see me.
So he decided to surprise me with a room.

It was nice.
And warm.
We had space to move around.
Amazing.
Seeing as we’re normally cramped in his car and freezing this time of year.
Or if his parents go away we’re scrunched onto his little twin bed, which barley holds him.

I know it’s silly that I’m 25 and don’t have my own place to take a guy, but right now that’s my lot.
For now any way.

We went to get something to eat after we dropped our stuff of at the room.
Cause I hadn’t really eaten since lunch.
He looked disapproving at that.
Until I told him I don’t normally eat dinner until about 6 or 7pm, which was round about when he picked me up that night.
Pete remembers being able to count my ribs when I was in high school.
Apparently he didn’t like it.

So dinner and then back to the room and then watching a movie on my nano.
The movie thing was funny.
Cause it lead to me telling him that I named my Ipod.
And him teasing me about naming everything lead to me accidentally naming the squirrel inside my head.

Zero is a random little fellow.
And that’s a whole other story.

During the course of the evening he suggested something.
He’s not adverse to the idea of taking a weekend off and going up to my family’s camp in Clarion.
Just me and him.
*freaking swoon*

I didn’t drop any hints, or whine that I wanted to go.
He’s actively trying to spend time with me.
Wanting to see me and trying to see me are two different things.
The latter makes me feel a little high.
I’m not used to this.

The whole thing with the boy who makes me feel stable and safe and loved.
It’s weird.
Seriously, I’m not kidding, my face actualy hurts from smiling this much.
It makes Eva and Heather and Little Sam roll their eyes at me.
I’m freaking besotted over here.
